Kaziranga National Park: This is a world heritage site , famous for many wild animals including Rhino.We did evening jeep safari from Central or Kohora range and morning Elephant safari at Western or Bagori range.
Jeep Safari:
The Jeep safari in the central zone is organized in the two shifts (morning & evening).The Jeep safari offers you some spectacular sighting of the grazing Rhinos grazing or wallowing in the large grassland, a herd of elephants and asiatic water buffalo, and many other species of the wild flora and fauna of this tourism zone.

(b) Western Range - Rs2150/- (Excluding Forest Permission)
(c) Eastern Range - Rs2550/- (Excluding Forest Permission)
Forest Road Tax - Rs300

Elephant Safari:
Elephant Safari starts from very early morning and continues for one and half hours. Elephant safari is the best way to explore the wide varieties of wildlife in the Kaziranga National Park, area covered by the Elephant Grass can be best viewed trip through elephant’s back, Elephant safari is best enjoyed in the early Morning, during safari one can get opportunity to see herds of Indian Elephants, One-horned Rhinoceros very short distance, a close encounter with the animals in Kaziranga National Park makes the trip memorable

Dhekiakhowa Bornamghar, Jorhat:
Dhekiakhowa Bornaamghar is a naamghar in Jorhat district, Assam, India that was established by saint-reformer Madhavdeva . He kindled an earthen lamp there, which has been continuously burning since 1528(1450 Saka),being religiously refueled with mustard oil by the priests till date. It is located at Dhekiakhowa village of Jorhat district, 15 km towards the east of Jorhat city 3.5 km away from National Highway 37.
There is an anecdote after the name of Dhekiakhowa Naamghar. Guru Madhavdeva after taking up the duty of reforming people and spreading the Ekasarana Nam Dharma came to stay in this small and very poor village. He took shelter for the night at the hut of an old woman, who served him rice with Dhekia Saak (a very common wild vegetable called Fiddlehead fern in English, which is very popular and have an excellent taste ). The old woman was very embarrassed to have served the Saint guru like this but he was immensely pleased by the dinner. So he started a namghar there and given the responsibility of kindling the earthen lamp to the old woman. That is why the naamghar was later known as Dhekiakhowa Naamghar. The place is inevitably named after the Naamghar itself.
A lot of visitors and devotees gather in the naamghar everyday, especially during the sacred month of Bhado (August-September), for this month being the Death Anniversaries of both the gurus Srimanta Sankardeva and Madhavdeva.

Kaziranga is the pride of Axom. All the forest ranges are really good. It is spread over 3 districts Nagaon, Golaghat and Karbi Anglong and I reckon some parts of Sonitpur in the Northern side. In the month of Feb/March you can spot Tigers as well when the grasses are burnt down. Anyway I am from Nagaon and I must admit am enjoying your videos. Kee up the good works. Cheers

It's very good I must say. The resort property is excellent. Food served seemed mouth watering,as also was manishji's tonic.Rates also are very reasonable. Forest wealth and animal diversity is astonishing.
Manish and pallavi ji,your narration seems absolutely normal and natural. So you need not worry about your presentation.
I did say that you travel in style. And once again you have proved it
And finally,pallavi ji your facial features assumed distinct Assamese characteristic features while in kaziranga,or thereabouts. I wonder how the transition came about. Perhaps manishji can explain the phenomenon.. Keep exploring, keep blogging and most of all keep us satiated.

Good to see Assam through your vlog. Very green and beautiful. Close look of single horn rhino by elephant safari is very exiciting otherwise you can't go such close to them. Very good coverage of everything and the information about the resort and cost of both gypsy , elephant safari and stay is preety reasonable , will stay while visting Kaziranga.
