    I remember a paperboy arcade game in Wales where I used to holiday with the family. For some reason, after someone played if you pulled back the handlebars and pressed the brake it would give out a free credit. It only worked just after a game over and you couldn't do it twice. I figured it was a glitch

      I never heard of that glitch...did anyone out there reading this hear of it??

    Way cool! This was the first arcade game I ever played, back in 85. I adored it and put a *lot* of coins in it, eventually completing Easy Street. Thanks for the video. It's fascinating to see this stuff. By the way you have such a great voice; kind of reminds me of one of those a voice artists like Mel Blanc or someone. :)

    This was my favorite arcade game as a kid. I've never seen that Atari system 2 board and its huge! So many great games utilized it. When Paperboy came out it was the best looking and sounding game in the arcade, not surprised that people didn't want to convert it.

    Jon Salwitz, the author, did 4 of Atari Games' best: this first, then 720, then Cyberball, then Ramparts
    Met him playing Cyberball at the '89 AMOA show in LV. Got to shake Bushnell's hand there, too!

    Please in the future could you get some "Before pictures" it would be great to see the work you guys have done. Even though I do not have the money to get one of these classic arcade games or pinball tables. I truly appreciate the effort in returning these systems back to former working glory. As I hope to be able to one day have my own small collection. Without the effort put in by you and others many of these system would just be junked.

    The stunt course at the end, had a secret warp, or extended version. But saw that from other people playing. The perspective of this game, i.e. 45 degrees, I couldn't get used to. But it was a big hit everywhere.

    Great job! Looks like brand new again. Nice picture with that med res monitor. I had an ABP years ago (underrated game if you ask me) and it was a System II with that great monitor.
    The only way to play this game as intended is the true arcade version.
    Emulations don't serve this game justice due to the original controller Atari used. It is a totally different experience any other way.

    • @tntamusements

    Great game...was that a medium res game? seems to have higher resolution then most games of that era.
    Great green screen work there......oh and the music sounds very nice on paper boy, especially that cowbell sound, as if it was sampled from the real thing.

    • @tntamusements
      @tntamusements  10 лет назад

      AnalogX64 Yes...the first of their med resolution series....(the three wheel Super Sprint used same monitor, as well as APB, Championship Sprint, 720, and last game was Tubin!

    • @AnalogX64

      I could be wrong, but I think Rampager was a medium res game. You could just tell looking at the game. The resolution was sharper then any other game of that era.

    There has never been a paper girl video game before. And of course, you'll know that this is an exaggeration of what no arcade game center had. No engineer has ever even manufactured it. Even though it appeared on a website.

    think he's waiting till the weekend. won't be able to see these right in ferryville wi though. tech break. network is only for email let alone DSL I'm assuming as it's white on the sides... it's for an arcade thats a bit cramped or why is it white..

    • @tntamusements
      @tntamusements  10 лет назад +1

      Lee Bartholomew not sure I understand the first part of your comment...but the game originally had white sides with some stripes and atari on it...there is new side art available for it, but customer did not want to pay for it in the restoration as its going next to his other games.

      I'll be out of town Mon-Thurs and the network is geared more for email only. it's not very fast... might be able to get something out of youtube but I'm guessing no.
