We had this machine in my college dorm store back in the early 80's. I still remember that theme!
This was the one for me. Not only looked great, but the difficulty matched my abilities well, so it was challenging, but not frustrating. My all time favorite.
This is a easy pinball machine to conquer. One of my top ten favorite pinball machines ❤ back in the day, I be on one quarter for hours getting lots of credits and flipping the score over. The most I had was over 4 million points. The store owner used to buy the credits off me when I was done ✅
Had this one at the local bowling alley when I was a kid, I played it all the time… ❤️
My favorite pinball machine without question. Played it a lot as a teen at a local bowling alley in Sparks, Nevada. What I'd give to play it again...
The 78 Playboy pinball machine was my first pinball I played as a kid...
Now I'm 53 and wish I could afford Playboy machine but it's not going to happen..

I played this at the Silverball Museum in Delray Beach Florida, man this machine is so easy to tilt
The tilt is adjustable to any level of shaking...they had it very sensitive!

Richard Bain Very easy to fix and maintain...as long as mice have not chewed on the wiring!

Pinball arcade sucks and do they still have that game? I will stick with pinmame? They chopped bally? Gottlieb is still there somehow they pulled all the roms, I can get them anyways. !

It's strange how the sounds can mentally teleport you back 30+ years ago. I was hoping to hear the tune it plays after the ball goes down when totaling the points. I used to have dreams about this machine when I was a kid. Not about the girls, but repeatedly hitting the targets on the right to get the extra credits!

What would a 1978 William Pinball sell for today ? I have a chance to buy one for $2,900. Working as it should. It’s been in a private collection since new. I will be the 3rd owner. If I buy it.

How many points do you need for 1st 2nd and third game on that , I'm calibrating mine!
Thats adjustable by the owner...The typical replays are 360,000, 480,000 and 600,000 for three ball
Loved the pin-up art on the side of the machine! But to be honest, the game itself looks a bit sterile for me. Nothing overly done it seems.

Never heard of this pinball, but this game came out the same year I was born. When this game became popular, a little known band called Cook County did a song called "Pinball Playboy", and it was a song about this game. It has sound effects from the game which was used in the song. The song was released in 1979 on the Motown label and they put out only one album featuring the title song, and 5 more songs that are instrumental, and that was from that album. One of the songs including this one, and if you are a fan of this game, here is the song.
