This version is their finished version. Proves that you can overwork a song. I left this comment on one of the videos of the original demo. This is the only version we know. We have, the fans, only heard this one since before How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb. This version came out with the leaks at that time. So we only know it as this masterpiece. The later live version feels like a lesser version.

The 2010 version and Luckiest Man In The World are re works because the band can’t help themselves always changing old material. The original Mercy is the superior version
Next to ZooTv, I think this tour is their second best. Just something about it. I think it’s the self confidence they seemed to have at this point in their career. ZooTv was the absolute height of their self confidence. They were on top of the world for sure.
Agreed. I think that’s because on Zoo TV, Bono was at his peak vocally & on 360, he was fully recovered from the 97-05 shakiness in his voice. He was fully confident again. Personally, my favourite vocal era is Elevation Tour though.
Interesting topic you bring up. Here are my (unsolicited😇) $.02.. I think we can all agree ZooTV is at the top. I would put 360° 3rd behind Joshua Tree as well. There were also some shows within PopMart, Elevation, and Vertigo tours that I like more than any show on 360°. However if what we’re talking about is the best overall product with the highest floor, 360° is probably the most consistent night in and night out quality product they’ve ever done. Mostly because Bono learned proper technique to safely deliver a vocal he was able replicate night after night after night after night. Whereas on Elevation, Vertigo, and PopMart, he had quite a few really poor nights sprinkled among the great ones.

I'm hearing mercy will be on the shadow release of htdaab coming shortly retitled "the luckiest man in the world" I really hope so as it's a quality tune that absolutely should've been on the album originally

I would like in a perfect world make a mix of two of them. But i still prefer to have to know them. Apologize me, i am a little bit drunk.
Watching this in hindsight, I would love to know why it didn’t get a berth on one of the last two albums. Definitely strong enough to replace a few other songs - assuming it didn’t fit either album’s creative vision?

Playing more rarities on 360 definitely made it a stand out tour. And the new version of Crazy Tonight was leap years better than the album version.
