Uhm . You can play it with the pedal harp , but there is a slight issue with the lever harp with the Db ( b = flat). With the pedal harp, we can lower or raise a note to half a tone . With the lever harp, we can only raise a note to half a tone. I suppose a lot of lever harpist will go celtic tuning : C ,D,Eb,F,G,Ab,Bb,C , which is perfect for this tune. But if i want to do a Db i'll go for a C# instead ( only raising), and then... Well, i'm stucked right after the Db on the third measure . Can you go for a Eb or a G instead of a C ? Check a lever on a lever harp : www.thorharp.com/pages/levers.htm . If you are wondering about the colors, Red are C, blue are F ( we are cheating a bit =) ). I'm looking forward to your music !
Thank you very much for your comment, and for listening! I had no idea that with the lever harp, you can only raise and not lower a note half a tone, making it impossible to play both a Db and a D natural (unlike how easily we can switch between the two on the piano). One option would be to play D (natural) E F E D, which fits the movie's original motif for Princess Kaguya. I admit that I do still prefer the dissonant Db, because it fits Kaguya's uneasy emotions in the original movie scene.
