I am a dark skin monoracial black woman with 4B/4C long hair and I LOVE your videos. Although I am not light skinned or mixed I have experienced hatred for being pretty and almost physically assaulted at a place of work due to jealousy. Dark skin black women can also be jealous of other dark skin black women that choose not to live life crying about colorism every second. When they see me living an amazing life they become angry and target me. I LOVE LOVE LOVE how you speak on taking back your beauty and doing what’s best for you. I love how you speak on changing your looks for your own pleasure. I’ve decided to get hip fillers for my hip dips. I love my body shape but I wish I had more rounded hips. Keep doing your work. You are speaking the truth.
Yes omg I’ve noticed this! If you’re a DSBW and you have positive attributes, pretty privilege and refuse to play the victim, your OWN counterparts will turn on you! 😂
Just reading the last part of your comment - that’s awesome! I’ve been using the stair stepper to try to build that area up! and I will GLADLY change anything I want about my body if I ever choose to
@@ExoticalsUnited Yes they’ve live their life truly believing that they can’t be treated well by a man because they have dark skin. When they see me being confident and treated well they go on a rage. It was truly traumatizing to where I had to get therapy and get on anti anxiety medication. Some dark skin black women can truly be ruthless and mean.
@@ExoticalsUnitedyes I barely have any dark skin friends since they’re so insecure! I see the jealousy they have for me so imagine for mixed women! My friends are mostly Latin, mixed or Arab all of them very attractive. It’s so hard to find other attractive, confident dark skin women to befriend.
I've always believed in the princess warrior concept, so I do think a beautiful woman can use her beauty to direct change in the world. It has to be used well, but either way there's a certain power in a woman who looks good but also has the confidence and knowledge to change aspects of the world. I'm a firm believer in beauty and brains, even if a woman plays dumb. Intelligence/wisdom and beauty is top tier. For example some hate Megan Fox or Paris Hilton, but actually both are smart in certain aspects.
Marilyn Monroe is the prototype of playing dumb but using it to actually reinforce her power by having people underestimate her and using that in her advantage.
Monoracial light skin black girl here!! I will be adding blonde highlights to my kinky curly hair and sewing in the tracks today and tomorrow!! No longer afraid of the word exotical!! ❤ thanks EU!!!
I can tell everyone that the colorism issue is that most Bm prefer lighter skin/ wht women ( they are mentally and physically conditioned and conquered) it’s who gets more stereotypical bbc. Not All lighter skinned/ WW wants Bm. 🙄
Your channel keeps getting better and better. I love how you recognized something negative in the BWE community and turned it into a niche and safe space.
Can you make a video on tall pretty women please? I'm almost 5'11 and I remember you saying you were 5'9. I feel like it's a different experience for us because women are way more jealous and intimated by beautiful tall girls for some reason. Men too. The modeling industry plus we have more surface and body to look at, so it accentuates our beauty. We get noticed way more and it's almost like you can't look over us. We basically command beauty. Most Ms. Universes are tall. The current Ms. Universe is 5'11. I feel like we always get a different type of pretty privilege. Women always try to gaslight us into thinking it's a bad thing though? I think it's just jealously. I heard so many stories of tall girls being insecure once they're younger because of that but end up loving their height once they get older because of the privileges. I love my height now! but used to be insecure because of haters. Tall girls always look so elegant to me.
I'm 5'8 and never knew if I counted as tall or not but everyone says I'm so tall. I come from a tall family and I'm one of the shortest in my family so I have always been confused about my height.
This is a great explanation, I wondered why the vitriol was so often based on physical traits like body when we don't have to appeal to other women. Also a man will choose who he wants in the end, unless he's one of those cheapskate NFL stars who use BW for their body then run after YT women for their bag. my core value is having my own money based on this exercise. 🤔
your content and delivery is so engaging and well thought out that I'm so wrapped up in the subject matter that I forget to thumbs up the video. thank you for your insight
My Pretty Privilege goal is to live in an upscale neighborhood. Have a job that gives me social status. so far so good. It will pay off to work on your "Look". I am all for any Pretty-Girl seeking to meet their Pretty Privilege goals.
Honestly, I want pretty privilege for the power it can grant someone. I just want more opportunities to have a higher social status. I'm not even trying to lie to myself. That's also why, while I'm not lightskin (nor am I darkskin), I will never hate on someone having more 'pretty privileged' according to a certain portion of society. Because honestly, if you have it, use it, it's just another resource. Pretty privilege is both something that we don't ask for (with certain features with have that we didn't choose) but also something we choose (keeping a certain shape by exercising, dieting, dying your hair etc). And I didn't ask for it but I choose it. It is hard but I have a clear image of what I want to express and radiate and I know it's important in order for me to have the life I want. So yeah, I guess I'm similar to you, in the sense that I also want to use it to 'social climb' and eventually use that power to help some other people.
Right, everyone is giving and receiving certain privileges without even realizing it . For example, I didn’t realize I had able body privilege until I saw someone without it . I didn’t realize I had pretty privilege until I saw someone without it . We live in a messed up society that’s already trying to push women of color down , but if there are certain spaces where being a woman of color is an asset or privilege, why not use that to my advantage? And yes, that includes pretty privilege .
I’m tired of the disrespect, invalidation, and gaslighting the “privileged” group gets. I’m tired of the trauma Olympics because I believe everyone’s trauma is valid and their experiences deserve to be heard. “Someone who drowns in six feet of water is just as a dead as someone who drowns in twenty feet of water”. This shouldn’t be a competition of who had it worse. Some DSBW have the mindset of because I had it worse than you, my problems matter more and I think it’s a selfish mindset

Exactly ! Some women will be protesting (and that’s fine) and other women will be social climbing as a way of enacting change.

Hey EU and Pretty girl club! 💗
Who wouldn't want power, control and status? Just as long as no one is harmed in any way.
Right, why would I want to feel powerless and like my life is out of control?
Love how you stood on business in the first min of the video
😂😂😂😂😂💅🏽 this is OUR space over here. If they want to argue they can argue in their spaces !

It's definitely jealousy, I'm 5'10 and everyone knows a women being tall/thin is associated with being a supermodel. #tallandpretty💅🏼

@@MagickalMermaid You're tall but on the shorter spectrum of it I would say. You're not short or average height at 5'8.

As long as you don't harm anyone why would you not take what nature gives?
