Thank you for the heads up on this Zelos release. The highbeat Miyota movement really makes this a contender. I passed on the earlier Blackfin GMT due to the lowbeat inside as the Borealis Estoril 300 GMT has a smoother 9075 and is a traveler GMT at a somewhat lower price.
Zelos offered the MAKO GMT Miyota 9075 at $100.00 discount during the drop price. The delivery wait time was only about three weeks compared to five six months wait time on Borealis. Also, the bracelet and build quality was a lot nicer compared to what Borealis offers. I have about seven Borealis to make the comparison. Every release with Borealis they use the same case back. Their pricing structure is also suspect. I've picked up a few Borealis models for what they claimed to be the lowest price during the pre-order. The wait was five months and they sold them for even lower prices compared to what the pre-order cost was. That's what I call a brand shooting themselves in the foot. Be a cold day in hell I ever order another pre-order with the brand if they play these "let's make a deal" pricing games.
Thanks. Boom. Ordered one. ;-) Nice looking watch with the Mother of Pearl. The Miyota movement is respectable. Something to hand down after I kick the bucket :-) I like the Ti more than the MoP.
Nice review - if I didn't already have the Blacktip GMT MOP I'd be all over this one. I have 5 out of the 6 original Blacktips as well because it's just such a unique and stunning design. Probably going for the Aventurine from this batch.
That's awesome! The Aventurine must be just as impressive. Are you in the Zelos Timekeepers Facebook group? Would be nice to see all 5 Blacktips next to each other 😁
No, I own the Blacktip 200M GMT Crimson Red. I love the fit. The bracelet hugs my wrist. I think MOP dial is super cool in real life. And the light weight of titanium seems cool to me!
ALMOST perfect ... but the (vertical brushed) bracelet flush with the (circular brushed) case looks wrong. It's bizarre because they do this so well on the Swordfish!
is there anyway you can put up another short on this or something , you kinda didnt do the best job filiming the watch lighting was bad , and you for sure need to include more wrist roll shots outside to show off the mother of pearl
Some extra cash coming my way would be really nice since I've been unemployed for a year but no, I haven't been paid and I've never accepted money in exchange of a review. I've just stated my opinion and if you disagree with it, that's perfectly fine :)
he's not paid, too many watch youtubers, people are fighting to get their hands on watches pre-release, so that they can do review videos for view counts. having said that, these reviewers of course will be bias in their content so that the watch brands will continue sending them watches pre-release
Should have one of these stunners on my wrist in a couple of days!
Congrats! I'm sure you'll love it 😊
Got it, love it!
Excellent quality as usual from Zelos, an amazing and intriguing dial and top materials. You couldn't ask for more at this price point. 🔝
Great review. This dial is the blacktop to get. Really stunning. You did a great job of capturing the case and dial. 👍
Thank you Matt! Appreciate it:)

Another beautiful masterpiece by Zelos!
miyota is a thin movement, i dun understand why they keep making their watches so thick at 13mm
Great review and camera work.
Thank you Donald :)

I have the original Blacktip Frost and would love to get the crimson and teal dials. The MOP on the new release is the one I’m interested in.
@@TheBoldHairspring yes I'll try to post a pic of them today 🙂
Great review...
Very nice watch....
I ordered this one. Well looking forward to it 😁
Is it your first Blacktip? If so you'll amazed. Congrats👏🏻☺️

I like this watch. But it reminds me too much of the Blacktip GMT MOP I own already. I think I will want the aventurine Blacktp this time.
H-link bracelets are not “short links” by any means.
That dial is killer.
This is a beautiful watch and MOP dial but I really wish they were offering one with a meteorite dial.
Beautiful price please👍
Waiting on another moonphase.
Would this watch fit a 6.25 inch wrist?
I think it will. The best thing you can do is to try on a watch with a similar lug to lug just be sure 👍🏻.
Not worried about the lug to lug. Worried that I will not be able to get a proper fit.@@TheBoldHairspring
@@gohabs365 oh ok. Well, the clasp is microadjustable and the links are fairly short. You should be fine.
I have a 6.25" wrist and for my watches that have bracelets I have to take it down to 4 links on both sides(not counting the adjustment).
ALMOST perfect ... but the (vertical brushed) bracelet flush with the (circular brushed) case looks wrong. It's bizarre because they do this so well on the Swordfish!
It has a incredible dial
Great watch but no thanks.
besides I've already got the Seiko king turtle manta ray and its perfect for me.

Beautiful watch. However, I am still heartbroken they never read my message on IG proposing a collaboration on one of my documentary projects. :-(
Overhyped no qc. Repeative design. Nothing new and price tag going up every time
Nice but hardly incredible. Makes me think your being paid...
LOL you posted this within three minutes of the video going live - makes me think you have an agenda. (oh, and *you're)

That's a bold accusation to make without any proof
Go away troll.
