Ronald G. Loving "Hobo Ron" passed away in the winter of 2017 of cancer. RIP Ron.....
Nice video!
The whistle at 2:28 is from the 488.
And now both locomotives are in operational order (I don’t fully know about 488 atm)
What ever goes around comes around.
That was very cool . I love seeing old time railroad and the audio overlay was awesome.
Very nice - takes me back to those days in southern Colorado - brings back some great memories. Nice editing.
STUNNINGLY BEAUTIFUL!
Were those sheep trying to say "Union Pacific avenge us?" lol. Great old footage!
Magnifique vidéo, encore !
Beautiful video, yet
Then this is along the dual gauge line between Alamosa and Antonito, right?
Great Video.
Fantastic sound work, a real pleasure to watch :)
THANKS !
The sheep in the road remind me of the road from Gallup to Aztec on the way to Durango.Nice job!
wow!
Thanks for noticing,,, That is what is taking me soooo long to finish editing it,,,
Ron at Main Line Motion Pictures
where did you get the whistle audio at 2:28?
why does 498 have 2 whistles? or is it the way there blowing?
what whistle was that from i think it was 487.
Awesome Video! Love it
Thanx Ron
nice video--there were sheep everywhere!!! Leg of lamb and more delicious treats to have though.
Well done! Even the whistle very close!
Expect it to a finished DVD later this year,, there is lots more great footage!
Ron

nwr 1991 sheep
No, it was silent film made in 1955, I added the sound, (in '55 I was only ten!)
Cheers, Ron

Why is the 493 ahead of the 488? You can't really stick the larger K37 in front of a K36...
TFN5459 even though the k 37 is bigger, the k 36 is heavier
Its not 493, its 498.
I thought the k36's were used as the helpers and the k37s used as the road engines?
I really like k-37 and when I saw this whoa someone likes what I like to see of k-37s in action
Thats how a freight train should look.
No, but I could find out for you,, HoboRon

How fast could they run on the dual guage?
Was this shot between Alamosa and Antonito?
Ron, great video, put me down for one. Is there Cumbres Pass footage? That would be awesome! Who is selling it?
nice video , you take it?
Do you know where exactly this was taken?
Is this video ready yet?? Love to get a copy, are you still in Chester??
Evidently CAN!
