Hi John, i am George from Germany and i love watsching your videos. I visit Australia from September 11st to October 15st We are landing in Brisbane und make then a trevel to Perth.
Hi John Great videos. I run a spray truck with an auxiliary engine and pump on it. We use the fuel from the main fuel tank with an electric inline fuel pump, works quite well. Also make sure you have a water temp gauge and an engine oil pressure light in the cab facing the driver. Cheers Duncan from Canterbury NZ
Hi there great choice of pump Most NSW RFS trucks have that pump on them In the future why not add a foam injection on to it Foam makes a hell of a difference in different situations
@@tomsbrookfarm I m enjoying the videos no end ,and the podcasts ,I listen when I'm milking, when will dad or your uncle be on to talk about the history of the farm ,you should get kye or Mitchell chambers on or they're father
Boy I hope you have other plans for that fire truck because your spending a lot of money and time on it just to have it sit around waiting for a fire .
That’s the point. I would rather spend money on something that will sit in the corner of the paddock then send my crew to a fire with a poor fire truck that risks their lives. This truck will hopefully be a beast of a unit that people will feel safe to go to a fire on.

Hi John have to set the new pump up at your new house for a water cannon at the house warming pool party😂
Great to hear , going to be in Busselton in March might just come look you up lol
I assume you realise how far it is from Busso to Esperance? Or is it tongue in cheek?

We use 1% to water on grass fire then you can wind it up to just but a foam blanket on
Put a venturi pump on there. Powered by the exhaust from the diesel.
"Doesn't that look ... superb!" Let's hope they aren't 'famous last words' 🙂
"No idea what that is" - Lunch box?
Hi JH

What was the specs on the pump? I think you said in another video it was 300lpm?
You can look it up on GAAMs website but from memory at full noise its around 900-1100lpm
What sort of $ are we looking at for a pump like that?
You tell me a figure, and I'll say higher or lower. But you only get one chance!
