I had a 1979 … kind of a base model .. purchased new. AC , radio and automatic transmission delete vehicle . Had 4x4 and the Chevy 350 V8 . The manual 4 speed transmission was fun to drive. I was a young man then so I didn’t care about no AC ! Now I can’t live without it !!!

I’d say early 1950’s up until mid 70’s is the peak of car design. But the 79 Blazer has a special place in my heart since my dad had one when I was a kid and it was the first car I ever drove.
I like the all original interior but my favorite color style is blue black, and I always go blue on black every time I see it. My traxxas trx-4 blazer body is sky blue and black I painted it myself
Geez, my dad had a '78 almost identical to this one. The only difference was the interior was red instead of tan, and it had the black vinyl strips on the bumpers. I hope to have one again one day. Brings back good memories.
