Haha I saw one of these cruising Deerfield Beach, FL about 15 years ago. It was just cruising down the beach at about 100 feet of altitude. Glad I finally remembered to do this search, cause for the longest time I thought I went nuts. Lmao, what an amazing ultralight craft.
Idk about you but the unguarded propeller seems like a good way to loose a hand or arm if there is some turbulence or unpredicted movements maybe just a few guards idk ?
I would sell my soul to the devil to have something like this!! I would love to have something like this!! Only if I can come across some money or win the lottery!! I love to fly!! My buddy has a Robinson helicopter. When he goes up to fly I go with him and he loves me fly the helicopter. He thinks I do fantastic on flying which I know the basics because I fly RC helicopters and RC planes! But I told him I can't afford to get the license to fly a helicopter. I'd rather have an ultra lite but an amphibious one. God bless with your ultralight it's great I love it!!
Something like this could revolutionize the daily transport of persons from small places to small places in areas all around the world. Ranging from the Amazon, to the Arctic. As the boat belly could allow for the craft to be used like a sled on snow top as well, even without takeoff.
saw these in nugwi zanzibar making some sort of documentary, this is interesting ideas mixing paragliding with boating and some wheels for dryland landing and takeoff, who is this bearded guy.,,, This idea is great for cheap mobility with this and a camp tent you can get to anywhere in the world.
If it meets the qualifications for a part 103 ultralight vehicle, then they would not need any sort of licensing. If you look up paramotoring, that would be an example and they can reach up to 15k feet and still not need any licensing.
not really amphibious, it doesn't have wheels to roll up onto a boat ramp, but very cool, a flying lifeboat. Beats floating around waiting, hoping for rescue, just fly to safety.
I was going to say I want one of these, but I realize, it's much more of a need. I *need* one of these.
Did you get ?
I feel you lol
Several years has passed and I'm wondering, did you get one?
No response. RIP @Snap-Time... Sounds like he really did get one.
That takeoff run was terrifying...
Needs a 912 turbo lol
A headwind would be beneficial!
@@greatflyer_aviation elevators would help too. I assume he has very little pitch of the vessel/aircraft so take off was challenging

the landing was buttersmooth!
Thanks for watching, check out my other videos in ultralight aircraft!

The live action version of Bad Piggies is looking sick 🔥🔥🔥
Nice video. When it was first about to take off I was like, no way this thing will lift-off, then it of course did.
Is that a normal range for the plane to make a take-off? It was kind off long xD
caiw there was no wind
Plus two men
and it’s out of water
lukas lea oh I wondered what that blue liquid was ? .
Thats what I was thinking…
Wow, i've never seen this before! :) Amazing footage! Well done mate, big like from me! :)
Now that's amazing!!! Thanks for sharing.
waw!! really cool!! great video Dimitri!
haha! Brilliant! I saw this for the first time down at the Surf n Sun in Limassol, I thought I was too drunk turns out it's real haha XD
That was a loooong take off run

The amount of air resistance that would create would basically make this thing impossible to fly
Perfect landing

That's one way to fly fish...😜
am I the only one that wants to do this with a regular (Florida style) air boat? or make a low wing ground effect model, performs like a landspeeder?
Yeah but those are usually way too heavy. Made out of heavy ass metals usually, at least all the ones I’ve been on in the everglades.
First thing I thought of
Look at this hell good job
Watching this in 2022. Amazing stuff!
Thanks for watching still!
Agreed. Watching at 2023! 😂
right,,so if it gets swamped with two guys in it out in the lake. if it breaks fuel line at 300 feet any glide? 👍🏼awesome machine
THAT IS INCREDIBLE
Glad you liked it!

Unfortunately the FAA exists.
Very heavy. I'm glad it wasn't a small body of water... long roll. whew. I was getting worried.
Friend: I had a dream where my mom gave me 100K dollars
My dreams:
And yes I really had a dream where I went to Tokyo with a flying boat
Saw one of these in Murrels Inlet SC area recently circling overhead while I was kayak fishing.
amazing flying boat, lke drone
Thank you 👍
Correct my if wrong, but would hydrofoils make this easier to lift-off? Maybe retractable!
Too much weight.
I wonder if there's a practical ise for this. Maybe to help wildlife preservists in the Everglades??

If it malfunctions you can always jump 👍
Another good reason to get one
This is a fantastic product! How much does it cost and where does one order them?
Cool! Would you mind share where we can get one of those?
That looks like so much fun!
It really was!
Make sure you check out my other videos flying in ultralights/microlights!
Smooth landing
Recorded horizontally:)
Speed through water is dictated by hull shape. Better hull shape for quicker take-offs
Needs a lot more distance to take off then the inflatables
So much fun!
Correct, it was!
amazing!
Da Vinci would be proud
✈️✈️
can it take off in rough water?
Any chance you can use a bigger engine?
What's the Website??? Very funny!
Boat : im flying now 😊
you ... do ... have to have a pilot license for this right?

@@AesirMO2 in that case i want one
The wing is too small with that engine and this weight!
That looks cool!
5B-HAX is very appropriate. Because when you see it take off you want to exclaim "Hax!"
Is rubber boat or aluminum boat of same size, lighter?
Great video....very interesting...
Does this count as an ultralight? If so I might need to get one.
This is something I want to do on my bucket list. Where are you located and do you rent out flying time on this craft
This was in Limassol, Cyprus.
This is something that could kind of fit in a Steampunk setting lol
Лодка с крылом и мотором меньше 115 кг? Думаю тут площадь крыла не плохо увеличить
We all had access to one of these the world could get along
How’s the landing?
Casey?
Amphibious means it also can go on land.... with wheels. Which this thing cannot do. lt is straight float. And under powered as well.
+TheGreatFlyer amazing
that thing is really underpowered.
How you gonna fish in that
Pretty easy no?
How much, and where to buy one ?
What is the wing size and brand? Thanks
good thing you have unlimited runway
It’s a boat.. it’s a plane… it’s a boat plane!
Correct!
Its a bad piggies!
Really coll
Agree!

It is amphibious and it does have retractable wheels. Not the best idea to use them on a sandy beach though!
i like better the one with the inflatable boat !!!! this 9ne seems heavy and under powered, plus no wheels at bottom that i can see.
Yeah I guess sand to soft for the wheels. Dont know but the rigid pantoons just dont make it for me.
Sooo Cool
this could also be converted to have land capabilities
some how
in case of engine failure.. you will still floatss.. get your padle
so what happened that its not more common, too expensive, hot air or helium blimp is on the same level
Eärendil is that you??
Good for recon in the military
This is like something from bad piggies😂
It may lift a small trailer off the ground during highway transport,😂
I wouldn't need a fishing license if I had this.
The possibilities are endless!
Muy larga la carrera de despegue. O le falta potencia al motor o hay mucho peso al despegue o no hay viento suficiente
The temperature was high and there was zero wind that morning.
I need two of them one for spare parts you know when you crash 🤓
Where can I buy it? Tell me please if you know. Thank
Where it is? I wanna one ride on it.
Limassol, Cyprus.
For sale?😉
0:01 it sounds like a car starting!

Is this FAA approved?

The trailer in the beginning threw me, no car attached? Hope you didn't leave it in the water lol
How do you steer it?
By steering the entire aerofoil!

where can I get just the boat only?

how much for one of these?

I believe you…
may i ask what type of engine did you use for that?

Needs a bigger wing.
That would massively increase drag and would require a bigger engine, increasing overall weight.
Holy shit I thought they wouldn't cost as much as that
yup that's a big NO NO! and it looks way more shit then a Aerolite103 you can get for 10K
