- This is hard one.. Maintaining the groove, remembering all the fills and to get it right... Impossible.. This was a good day and I played it on one take. But for sure there are bloopers here and there and I f..cked up the double-bass part. But thanks to technology nowadays - I just played it separately and added it to audio. So if my pedal seems to live it's own life in that part - there's some protools in it :D :D :D

I first heard maiden when i was 16, the number of the beast album, i have been a life long fan ever since. Seeing you break down ONE of their songs and seeing the complexity of just one element of their music blows me away. I don't know how long it took you to learn that track and taking nothing from you, but to create such a thing from the ethos is the stuff legends are made of. I wish you every success and hope you can create as well as you mimic. that was awesome.

Además de todo el despliegue que hay detrás de coverear este verdadero TEMAZO, tuviste "la valentía" de tocar (a mi parecer) una de las secciones de batería más grandiosas de toda la historia del Heavy Metal, digna de ser estudiada para siempre en toda academia de batería que se precie de tal: la brillante elección de don Nicko (en la mitad del tema) de darle con el más variado buen gusto sólo al Hi-Hat con tal de "exprimirle" el necesario "misticismo" que tenía que estar de fondo.🤘

Yes! It's handy and it's mobile and because I hate setting wires and mics etc that is all I need😁 used only two overhead mics plus snare and bass drum so even better😅

No matter where you aim, you always hit something😁
I think if it serves the music you are playing and gives you more room to try different things playwise it doesn't matter if there is 9 toms or 2 toms. Of course in my case I want to try and play Iron Maiden songs as accurately as I can and unfortunately it doesn't work with less toms.
