Maybe this should be called a demo, not a sea trial?

Capt, please rate this cat from 1 to 10. We know some upsides but what do you think are the downside? Seems to be a lot less cost than a similar LOA of Freemon or Invincible. Where did they compromise or is it less expensive to get the brand out to the market? Thanks in advance

They are built in South Africa and because most boat building is by hand its costs much less to make. Plus they spend hardly anything to market, and sell only direct to consumers. The man Peter who owns and runs the company has great core values. I would not hesitate to buy his boat. It is a great value. Since the show they have put out newer models and they continue to look and perform even better.

The ZAR/USD exchange rate is 15:1 and much lower labour costs in South Africa. More boats should be built offshore like this, the Freeman boats are great, but a little too costly to manufacture and or overhyped etc.

Not much of a Sea Trial. No speed or fuel burn numbers. No seas to be seen. Boat bouncing and people ducking doesn't look promising either. Then the rep doesn't listen to a client's response without talking over her.

I mean you’re gonna give something up with that lightweight hull design. Most catamarans at this size are much heavier. Might be able to handle the seas better. I’m excited to see their 45ft though.

@@CaptPeterson Correct me if I'm wrong (and I really hope I am) but Hull #117, a 2023 model, is listed for sale directly by Hammer Yachts at $549k. Is this price for this specific boat, possibly fully outfitted and highly customized, or is this now the new base price for a HammerCat 35?

What's thought on dropping horse and adding evirude 300's, cut top speed but gives more range and fuel consumption?

@@OMOLMentoringinc Right around the 6:15 time he says that with twin 300's it will do 50 mph and the standard 400 gallon tanks will give 650 miles at 30. Hell, they had it up on plane @ 16-20 with a SINGLE 300 in the water.
