- I wanted to do something to break my music block. for a long time i had been like feeling unmotivated but it's mainly just by feeling overwhelmed. i spent too much time looking at the big picture of all that i gotta do in terms of commissions, and plenty of tracks for fangames, when i should have just tackled them one by one. it takes a long while for each of these songs yknow, and every opportunity to really build my portfolio is worth it which is why i rarely say no a lotta times, cept for an overload of suggestions. lol.
anyways, unlike all of my other songs which are meant to make people groove a lot or get pumped through awesome battle tracks, or even goosebumps from crazy compositions...
THIS one, however, is much different in terms of it's goal. it's meant to calm the listener down, let them close their eyes and listen to it. possibly to study, to sleep to, to draw or maybe in the background for relaxing streams or timelapses or whatnot. it's made to give peace and ease the mind. so i hope it does just that for you too! it's something i wanted to do for a while: make a calm composition. so here you go and enjoy!

I love how much Aquarium Park was added into this! One of my favorite tracks mixed with two other really good ones? Absolutely amazing.
Very interesting track right here; from the description I was expecting some sort of Lo-Fi remix, but what I got was you taking your signature style of instrumentation and applying it to a whole new mood. Not an easy jump to make, but you’ve pulled it off very well here :)

Outdated[Planet Wisp: Aquamarine Ancient Woodland.
A submerged forest section on planet wisp. In the depths of this forest lay ancient ruins from an strange Alien race known as the Naki-Anun.
In this amphibian level you'll need to avoid badniks aswell as traps from the inmendations of the ruins. The mid-boss is an ancient stone-like reptile guardian known as Cipactli.

Aquamarine Ancient Woodlands
Act 1... Go!
This is an amphibian level. First you get out of the normal Planet Wisp Zone. The first thing that the player sees when entering the level is the gigantic Temple of Huatzinplocti, the Aki-Anun deity of water. After avoiding some normal badniks, you start to go deeper into the marsh. As deeper you get into the level the enemies start looking more rusty, afected by the humidity of the level. At some point the floor starts getting gooey amd Sonic needs to get into higher land, until the trees dissapear and you enter into an underwater section of the level. There you'll find new enemies like Electric Algae that shock and inmovilize for a while, Poisonous Dart Robo-Frogs that, depending on its coulour make you freese, burn or get poisoned, and Marine Spiders that suck out all you oxygen, trying to drown you.
As reaching the end of the level, you rise again into the surface, and into the entrance of the Temple where the midboss battle starts.
Suddenly, the floor starts to tremble, and from the algae covered water emerges Cipactli, an alligator like rock beast. It,a attacks consist on jumping out of the water, and then submerging causing different types of Robo-Frogs and inmovilizing goo to jump out of the water, after doing this 2 times, Cipactli starts smashing the ground with it's tail. The weak pont of the boss are 8 spheres spread around its body. When destroying 4 of the spheres, Cipactli makes a gigantic splash which causes the floor to collapse, and an underwater battle begins, now, it can electrify the water, to avoid damage, cover yourself with algae, avoiding the electric shock. It can also directly charge towars you, jump or knee to avoid it, depending on the attack. Consider that the water is so gooey that you are much more slower that on land. When destroying Cipactli, a secret door will opem from the background of the level leading deep into the Temple and into the unkown....

I don't much hear Sea Bottom Segue, except during the middle, but I definitely heard that Aquarium Park and a few others I can't quite remember the names to.

I love this mix. I love Planet Wisp's theme, and it helped me better appreciate Sea-Bottom Segue after, well, I didn't. Before I played Lost World, I never appreciated music, especially not video game music. Now I do!

It's one thing to hear the music, but it's another to get to see how it was made. Even when going through a creative block, you can create stuff like this. It's insane. Keep it up, hope you feel more on track in terms of music now.

I like iiiit, was not expecting Sea Bottom Segue. (Is that gameplay from the 3DS version? We were just talking about it yesterday, ha.) Much less Aquarium Park or Dragon Road at the end. I like this a lot, it's calmer and things but still has your signature feel to it, still lines up with your other music no sweat. Well, what else can I say except welcome back?
