Paige’s powers grew so much, she really ended up becoming super powered
I argue that Paige is the strongest of the 3 based on her powers and overall spell craft.
As a MASSIVE fan of Prue, I was on the fence at first. Paige definitely won me over. What an excellent addition to Charmed ❤️👑👏🏻
Charmed made magic feel so real.
Charmed isn't real but "some" of the things done in the show are based on Wicca and general Witchcraft.

Paige vanquishing the photographer had to be my favorite Paige Vanquish, she just said "Smile" and took the shot.
She should’ve orbed demons away more often, that is a very OP ability!! Imagine just orbing every demon into a volcano
I remember leo saying she might not be able to fight like Phoebe. Because of her passive abilities as a white lighter. But look at her here kicking ass.
You are mistaken he meant as with her physical powers like her inheriting like a destructive active power
He said that because she's half whitelighter she's also half pacifist so she may not be able to fight like Phoebe

@@anthonysmith1077phoebe taught her some martial arts so shes not defenseless and her white lighter powers are indisputable so who needs it

The ONLY problem I have with Paige's power is agility, her power is super slow. But EXTREMELY useful compared to Prue’s power.
It just seemed that way. She can orb pretty fast and being able to teleport is pretty handy
they have the same power, it's just combined with orbs so if Paige's is useful so is Prue's lol the only thing she had over Prue is orbing other places
I feel like prues power or astral projection shoulf of been far more advanced before season 3 like how Rex did with the Tiara also her being able to control both her live body and her astral form at same time she only did it once in the empath episode

Unlike Prue, she actually can teleport objects, rather than make them move physically, which removes physical obstacles and any kind of tethering from the list of things that can impede her power. Not to mention teleporting might as well being faster than conventional telekinesis, depending on the distance.
Moreover, she advanced it enough to access Remote Orbing - i.e. teleporting people and objects at will without going with them herself.
@@user-yk9kh3xu5s I like how her advanced power let her orb demons and throw them anywhere (back to magic school peacefully or to some wall offensively)
While season 8 is not my favourite, the most important highlights for me are Paige and Henry. Perfect chemistry and worked as a team. Plus it doesn't hurt that Ivan Sergei is SO totally 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 and Rose McGowan portrays Paige as a dedicated heroine who ends up being the only one who cares about the innocent of the week the girls have to save.
Paige, as the series progressed got more fierce.She is so cool.
Rose McGowan looks particularly beautiful here 😍 Paige mastered her powers. She is beyond badass and her abilities are pretty flawless throughout season eight 👑👏🏻

I do like that their power developments stayed consistent throughout the show more so than anything else
Paige doing martial arts should have been done more

Maybe they didnt want the other sisters to use self defense as much since it was Phoebe's thing. I remember people had mixed feelings when Prue started using self-defense, even though I loved when Prue kicked ass. I guess it was a creative decision on Alyssa Milano's part. But like ironically she hardly used any self-defense during season 8. So, like I dont see why Paige couldnt have used it more.
She should have been able to call for things silently before s8 the same for healing
always felt like her healing power should’ve been unlocked with the love for one of her sisters almost dying and she just bawling her eyes out
@@Ta-Dayne it doesn't work like that. Remember Piper only figured out love was the trigger for healing when she finally admitted how she really felt about Leo so it makes sense the real threat of losing Henry was the trigger for Paige's healing power because she hadn't admited how she felt until he was about to die.
Paige's powers did actually progress tho... Especially the scene where she's glamoured Billy in the magic school. She deflects multiple energy balls at the same time. That's a big advancement of her powers. Especially if you rewatch season 4. At the beginning she literally had to call for the energy or fireball and then physically try to throw it. Here she literally deflects multiple energy balls back at the demons and kills them effortlessly.
I can’t help the thought of Paige , not being aware of the Gifts true potential. She alone could have desecrated Any formidable Being. Being all she had to do was channel and called for An inner organ , Materialized It , outside of the opponent’s physical body.

Guys remember that Paige is the first hybrid witch so of course she would have a exclusive telekinetic power. That's why Wyatt and Chris had normal telekinesis.
Wyatt and Chris also had the same version as Paige as well as the same version as Prue's.
Is she really the first hybrid witch? Because if she was there, it wouldn't be a rule that witches and whitelighters shouldn't be together.

@whatdoiknow8654 The reason why I am saying this is because I specifically remember Paige was courted by a witch- whitelighter when she was Henry. I don't know if they were around the same age or older, so it wouldn't make her the first ☺️. Also, when Paige took over magic school, there were teenagers that were hybrid witces, right?

Spoiler Alert in the comics,
Paige power progresses to being able to create Orb shields which I theorized she should be able to do since orbs are basically light constructs anyway.
We had to reach season 8 to see Paige moving demons as Prue did! Her powers had so much potential and I wish the writers had explored them sooner!

The biggest weakness with Paige’s telekinesis is how slow it worked compared to Prue’s power. I’m sure the slight delay would have realistically made more enemies more opportune to attack in the lag for the object or weapon to move.
Exactly what I was always thinking about. And the fact she HAS to call for it is super annoying

The upside is that it seems limitless no? She could potentially orb a car, tank? Seems like Prue wasn’t strong enough to move certain things.

@@acryliq It’s almost like the enemies wait for the object to hit them or their own energy balls to glacially return right back at them. With Prue, everything was done in a split second with no warning…

I love her more after she gained more confidence in her witchcraft and start using her whitelighter powers in the later seasons
I wish they showed more of her potential powers out of the classic whiteligther/ witch like maybe her being able to control light and throw light orb sod something to do with elements like her past life
What frustrates me about paiges powers is that when Leo was first introduced him being a whitelighter he could levitate and had telekinesis (without needing to call for or orb objects) so Paige being half whitelighter shouldn't have to call for object or orb them to move them it's most likely a continuity error and later Leo wasn't shown to be able to do much other than orb and heal but little things like that annoy me
Paige did have that in charmed again pt1 when her telekinesis first start manifesting after she reconstituted the charmed ones but in charmed again pt 2 the orbing manifested with her TK she used “regular TK” to break her mirror and orbless calling TK when she tried to call for a man heart I like the orbs better but she should’ve been able to not have to call by season 6 since she did orb a rock without calling for it to go to

@@y.2439 no she orbed the Excalibur rock without “calling” she literally just orbed it up to the attic without activating the TK part to “move it”
@@LordArkanaNavy well, maybe it's just an error, but Paige technically has the power to move things without calling them, we can see it with Wyatt, Chris and the kid on the final episode when they show Leo teaching
On the comics that are technically season 9, they find out that, because of some (spoilers), they did not advance on terms of powers(not counting Phoebe), that's some kind of explanation
OMG! YES! Those errors have always drove me crazy as well! It's still my favourite show flaws and all!
I liked how she can change into anybody at will that’s pretty cool and move any object that was awesome.

Later in the comics they meet prue and she explained to them if she was alive billie ans christy would have no chance against the original charmed ones. So she is stronger than paige
@@mindbodysaul4382 anyways prue is more powerful, they say it in the show several times that a first born witch is always the most powerful one. For example shax can only be destroyed by the power of 3. But prue and piper casted the spell without phoebe and he died. This never happened again that when the power of 3 was necessary that only 2 of them were able to destroy such a srong demon it was only possible cause prue has the most power
@@mindbodysaul4382 the sisters mentoined very often that prue is the strongest and the number of powers does not say how powerful u are leo has so much powers but the sisters have more power than him. So has prue more than her sisters. When she casts a spell its more powerful and in the future episode she destroyed the half house with one arm movement, a car is a joke to that, imagine the destruction if she used her power consciousally in this scene and not unintentionally
I'm confused at everyone down talking Paige. Honestly it made so much sense tho. We found out in the first couple of Seasons that Patty cheated on Victor with Sam (her whitelighter/Paige's Dad). The story was already there & made perfect sense how everything came together in S4.
Which begs the question what was their plan if that storyline hadn't been done in season 2.

Paige was able to orb the entire doll sized manor (while doll sized herself) then she can do the same thing normal sized. That is very powerful! Crazyyy.
Paige was born with an inactive witch gene because of the prophecy and inherits Prues part of the power of three. It’s cool that they made Paige’s powers different than Prue’s

What do you mean?? Season 8 is literally the advancement of Paige in terms of her powers. We see her be more proactive, especially with her Whitelighter powers they have develop so much in season 8, she even unlocks her healing power.
@@kamochill I respectfully disagree. Paige was always capable of healing (she does in season 4), they just didn't explore that side of her in depth. In terms of personality and status she might have evolved, but her whitelighting powers haven't changed that much. Ok, I concede that being able to teleport other people and objects without having to teleport with them is huge. But that's about it really. Most of the time she still shouts the object's name and the travail speed still seems much slower than Prue's.
@@Jay-el9iz she couldn’t heal in season 4, any healing was done through Leo. Season 8 definitely allowed us to see the development of Paige’s powers.

I love Paige's powers .
Meh. 🤷🏻♀ I never did. I would have liked them to have given her a passive power, and then later on as the series progressed a more offensive power, connected to her first power. But that's just me. 🤷🏻♀

Yep she learnt she power in season 7 though she was the last person with telekinetic orbing to use power as Chris, Wyatt and the elders all had it before her.
So if her mouth was gagged, she couldn’t use her white lighter telekinesis?
I never understood her powers. Chris and Wyatt are also half white lighter and they had normal telekinesis. Also her telekinesis orbing seemed so slow. Like I’m surprised she didn’t get her ass kicked more. Then randomly she devolved the ability to orb things without calling the name in season 8 but then still called the name? Like it’s a step backwards. Having to call the name required too much time to think. If u called the wrong thing u we’re done for.
She should of been the most powerful sister with a mix or her powers from both sides of her.

I like that in charmed reboot tv show mel & maggie learned that kaela became a charmed 1 cuz she had Macy's stem cells & kaela's powers were dormant b4 she became a witch just like how paige's powers were dormant & she got her powers when she met her sisters & became a charmed 1

if Paige can levitate what was the point of having it as a power for phoebe.
Paige can't levitate, she can only hover, Phoebe's levitation almost acted like a propelled jump and advanced her martial arts skills (plus is confirmed to levitate her six feet higher and when in the Nexus of the All in season 9 where their powers all advance she can fly) , whereas hovering is only a few feet and was primarily used for meditation, the orbs almost act like a platform keeping them up so it's implied that they couldn't really move from that spot whereas Phoebe was able to float around slightly (and of course will advance to pure flight)
Paiges ability to do that comes from her whitelighter side as Leo is seen to do it to change a lightbulb
Levitation has also been a future power for Phoebe..plus it was introduced in season 3..before paige came in the picture...but in season 2 when they went to the future..she also had a premonition of her levitating
Paige is half whitelighter in season one Leo (also a whitelighter) can levitate

I love charmed. I do. And I know they suffered budget cuts at this point, but DAMN the orbing effects got ugly this season. Just very generic and bland.
I have to agree though Paige's orbing started looking ugly in season 7. Leo's orbing started looking ugly even earlier, in Season 5 and got progressively worse.

The reboot just doesn't have those interesting magic rules like the old version. The spell doesn't rhyme anymore. No more interesting orbing telekinesis. No more waving hand and poof magic. it's sad to watch the reboot.

S8 orbing fx is atrocious 😂
What bothers me the most is that in season 4 we saw her powers advance to the degree of not needing to call for an object in the zen place that enhances powers (Enter the Demon). Then in season 6 we saw her orb the sword in the stone without calling it out (sword and the city) and that was the biggest object she’s orbed up to that point. Her continually shouting to activate her powers got so annoying and repetitive, especially when she fought her evil twin and shouted arrow 500 times in an annoying row (it’s a bad, bad world). All the others gained HUGE advancements and control of their powers within one season. Season 6 should have been the season Paige could orb without calling, especially before the annoying “arrow, arrow, arrow, rock, boulder, boulder, boulder” battle. Over half this video is her yelling and it was so stupid and unnecessary.
Rose’s acting got worse as season 8 went on, you could tell she was over the show

Yes Rose admitted she would cry every time Charmed was renewed. She signed up for it being told it would be a year or two at the most. She wrote this in her memoir.

Telekinetic orbing extremely weak, it takes 4 years for her to move a mortal/demon, compared to Prue
But prue would never be able to orb, heal or glamour (without a spell) like she can :)

Both Paige and Prue's powers have their pros and cons. Prue's power was better offensive wise to that of Paige's
It also is because of how producers made it work. I always felt the show was more exciting when Shannen was in and Rose acted like tired since season 7. Not to mention the lack of Phoebe's powers in the last seasons and how annoying her empathy thing was.
@@koken1204 Her empathy power was executed poorly. Her premonition power became less useful later on.
I always felt that astral projection and levitation was given to the wrong sisters. Levitation made more sense to be a natural extension from telekinesis and astral projection felt to fit someone with premonitions more.
The first 4 seasons were the best part of Charmed not perfect but the golden years of Charmed. Season 5 onwards the basic lore of Charmed was screwed over

Whats the point of her magic? So she orbs things but how was she able to lock the door?
Her power is a mix between telekinesis and orbing since she is part white lighter/witch. She locked the door by telekinetic orbing the lock to move shut.
Her power is telekinetic orbing, she can orb things but also move them with the use of orbs.
She used telekinesis to lock it since her power is mixed with orbing if she wants to move an object or people she can just orb from place to place or use the force of TK to throw things and deviate attacks (like regular TK)
Using telekinesis. Normally you lock doors with a key, Paige did the same, but instead of using a key she used telekinesis.
