Andrew Zimmern you're my true hero! I have so many food allergies I've always watched you as a way to understand food all over the world and see what things I still can eat even with my allergies. You've not only helped me understand food better, but people and the world we live in.
And when I saw you had a pug too? I knew you are absolutely 100% my hero. Thank you for all you do. You're a legend.
I am deathly allergic to peanuts, and I've always been wondered, how would you describe them to someone who cant eat peanuts or treenuts, or lentils or peas. Coconut for some reason is ok?
Ive tried the sunflower peanut butter type replacement and its delicious but my non allergic spouse just says it tastes like sunflower seeds and not peanuts.
If you had any way to describe peanuts to someone like me? Or perhaps knew a mock peanut tasting adjacent recipe it would make my life.
Even if you dont do any describing or recipe and you just read this, know that your biggest fan Hayley is rooting for you daily.
Thanks for all you taught me!
