Therapeutic Ultrasound: Application Technique

This video demonstrates the essential aspects of the application technique for therapeutic ultrasound using direct coupling, water bath coupling, bladder coupling, gel pad coupling, or gel shot. Movement of the transducer, speed of movement, coverage area, orientation of the transducer face plate relative to the skin, choice of effective radiating area (ERA), and gel temperature are discussed.
