The cross play feature was only announced for the PS3 and Steam, but I guess something wasn't ready for launch (?) and it was dropped.

I use controllers on some games too, except FPS. See, with FPS games on the PC, it's much easier to aim since it's a mouse. You can be very precise with the mouse and it doesn't need aim acceleration. The big thing with Valve games is that they never add aim assist either, something that is in almost every console shooter from Halo to Killzone. Without the aim assist, it would be like a massacre. However, there is no cross platform play anymore, due to this reason, so you can play and have fun.

But I was gonna get this on PC. I play most of my FPS games on console with aim assist off if the option is available.

If you're going to get it for PC, then great! You don't need a controller. Anyways, even with aim assist off, you still have to deal with aim acceleration. Aiming from point A to point B is a lot faster than doing it on a controller.

Second, this trailer was pretty good but if the trailer is better than the game, then it's an epic fail altogether.
Third, People saying they should keep on PC, I agree but the people who can't get amazing computers, even good enough to play at least CS on Maxed graphics and no lag, are able to get it on console we may have to wait for patches but they may either patch the console differently to the PC due to various different problems or the PC will have more features or something.

or is it just ps3 and pc? They might have problems patching the xbox game as quick as they need to, due to XBL. I personally think they should leave pc and console seperate, otherwise we will need to wait for patches.

for me counter strike is just too serious and im not good at it. I prefer tf2 as its more of a cartoon and tons of fun with a good team.
