- The trial of a Riverview man accused of murdering his girlfriend and 9-year-old daughter, then trying to kill his 8-year-old son, got off to an explosive start Monday.
Ronnie Oneal III, 32, is representing himself and shouted parts of his opening statement at the jury.
The state began its opening remarks by playing a 911 call made by Kenyatta Baron, Oneal's girlfriend, as she pleaded for her life. Prosecutors said, by then, she had already been shot and, while the recording continued, Oneal can be heard beating her with a shotgun.

Actually psychologically if you act more aggresive during lets say an interrogation or trial, you're more likely to be perceived innocent since you are shown fighting for your freedom, acting calm and collected makes people think you know your freedom is about to be taken away and that you dont care.

I was a victim of abuse by my mother, the incidents of my past are always there, hovering just on the outer edge of my consciousness, sometimes i find myself reliving the horror, the pain, the terror and the brutality
and i have to consciously quell the welling up anger and loathing i have for my abuser, she destroyed our family with her violence but in the end she destroyed herself...
I firmly believe her intent was to kill us all but higher power intervened and caused her to take herself out instead, i was 13 at the time and are now 65 but can visually remember everything that led up to the point of no return....
This boy will find a visceral pleasure in knowing that he played a part in getting just retribution against what clearly is a manic, narcissistic and morally deranged father, a man who should never have been allowed to have such a lovely family by natural law.
While i as a man can relate to having an amount of resentment toward some of my close relatives for various reasons, it's hard for me to imagine mangling the mother of any children i would have fathered by her no matter how much i came to dislike her, i would just leave and live somewhere else and support my children, spending what time i could with them but this control freak maniac wanted

@@tyriciankelly9185 I would like to think that too, but remember, we do not know just how badly burned he is. He will have to look at his physical scars everyday and then remember the emotional pain. The best advice I ever heard for people in this situation to cope with such a trauma is "Allow yourself to cry for 5 minutes a day...no more! Then, resume your day and carry on strong for them" This is a terrible situation indeed.
