Should I be working on my postgraduate thesis? Yes. However, in honour of Criminal Minds being renewed for a 16th season revival on Paramount Plus, here’s a ‘best-of’ of Paget Brewster as Emily Prentiss from Season 2 to Season 15 (So Far) of Criminal Minds (CBS).
I hope that the RUclips CC’s are able to work. I’m sorry I can’t make it more accessible for HOH/d/Deaf viewers, I’m legally blind and captioning videos is really difficult for me. I’m more than happy to type a transcript for you though, just drop me a comment/message.
Prentiss is absolutely iconic, and an epically sassy and strong role-model. Having a comfort-character that’s so powerful and witty warranted a 7 minute compilation. There were of course more moments and Prentiss-isms I wanted to include, but this seemed long enough already.

She was the main reason that I watched Criminal Minds, along with JJ, who was the #2 reason. In the early years with the long dark hair, bangs, & brown eyes. Then you throw in the intelligence and quick wit. I was in love.

Do you happen to remember what season it was when Morgan said I played safety back in college? Or the scene at 4:10 where Emily gets news and then freezes? Both of those were so funny! I have to go back to those episodes and watch but I can’t remember them haha 😂😀
I actually do!! The one with Morgan was 5x19 A Rite of Passage, and the other was towards the end of season 7 where she finds out she got the house in Du Ponte Circle that she was afraid of buying

I like how Emily became friends/family with them immediately like how she, JJ and Garcia go out drinking and shopping together. Where Elle was always uptight, and I liked they continued that with Kate and Tara being good friends and hanging out with them
I think honestly cause Reid and Garcia and JJ were really/brand new too, they were probably all settling in to a rhythm which is why as time went on it all became more natural as it would have with Elle too - she went on holiday with Morgan after all!
