Jen identifies as shy and introverted but she does such a great job at moderating these lunch break discussions! Noticed that she’s done several since becoming the only female at Wong Fu Productions - go Jen! Keep up the awesomeness!!! 😘
Jennifer Le - ahhhhh...I totally get that. People who meet me when I’m working think that I’m an extrovert since I need to be outgoing and communicative with customers, however it takes a lot of energy for me to be that way since I’m not naturally like that. I’m more comfortable one-on-one or in smaller groups of people that I know. For work, I’m much more comfortable being “back of the house” but most of my job requires that I be “front of the house”. It’s been great seeing more of you on Wong Fu Production’s social media and on lunch breaks! 👍🏻😘
i think once girls start liking each other, we really devote a lot to each other and are super attached. so i think a definite pro about female friendships is how strong the bonds are and that they will last. i would do anything for my close female friends and they would do the same for me.
Can I just say I really love Cathy's voice? 😍 This was a great lunch break, it's so uplifting to see women come together and talk so honestly about our lives as different and unique personalities, but also the similar experiences we all share :) love you all!
Jen, my friend went to the hair salon and she showed your picture to the lady and literally demanded "MAKE ME LOOK LIKE HER!" 🤣 I'd probably do that too if my hair was longer. you're always hair goals♡
Hi Jen 😁 well the stylist just looked at ur pic and she got the idea how my friend wanted it. she dyed her hair and cut more layers and curled her hair at the bottom so it looks more like you have it :) i think it she came out looking really nice 😄
When Jen is me when they mentioned "Boob share". I am too self conscious for that.... But seriously how to make friends 101. Cuz im like really shy when I meet new people, and it takes awhile for me to warm up.
So happy to see an All-Girls Lunch Break! For the next one, maybe it should be geared towards first dates/relationship advice from a girl's perspective or just one related to the girl power within the media industry :)
Love it ! Love it! By far my fave episode. Don't see too many Asian American female yotubers all together at once. This was nice. I i think incorporating more female perspective and yotubers would be great, considering that prob most of the people that watch wong fu vids are females. Shout out from the Midwest!!! Loved this one by far!!!
yes! i feel like nobody's ever talked about friend crushes before! but i meet so many awesome girls that i want to be friends with and i'm like....how do i get you to like me and not be creepy? HAHAHA thanks for an awesome lunch break!
there's so much [asian] girl power and i love it!!!! i hope there's more girl lunch breaks in the future, this totally made me feel better about being a girl! also, shoutout to Jenn for leading this lunch break! you did so well, you go girl!!!!
I definitely have more guy friends than girl friends and it's definitely different (I appreciate both). But now that I'm getting closer to 30, I really appreciate my female friendships because we can go deep into any topic and relationship issues. We empower and support each other in a really meaningful way.
i just wanna say i'm so proud for Jenn for stepping out of her comfort zone so much by leading these discussions and doing such a terrific job!! go go girl! you inspire me!
I really liked this episode's topic and guests, especially because we don't see them as often. The whole thing was pretty similar to how I talk to some of my friends too. It was also nice having Jenn be the host because her voice is kind of calming.
Ahhh this is so inspiring and I'm looking for a girl bff right now. I've always had male friends because of my interests in video games and general nerdom so I never really connected with other women on a deeper level. But now that I'm older and in my mid 20's I'm realizing how powerful those friendships are. I feel so jealous when I see other women be bff's together and it kind of sucks when I feel like I don't have that kind of connection with someone. It's just really frustrating when it feels like you're making an effort to connect with someone that you vibed with before but they aren't reciprocating. Complaining aside, I'm taking applications for girl bffs!!
I think you get that connection once you go past the surface level convos and dive right into those “late night talks”! I feel like these are the type of talks that make female friendships feel so valuable! 😊✨
I can understand. I often look at the other female friends in my friendship circle and I’m envious at how close they are. It can be a struggle revealing all my nerdy fandoms and all the games I play and not knowing if they’ll be able to connect. I have found some female friends that do share my interests and it’s such a relief.
being there for each other when there are struggles that are particular to girls like, sexism in the work place. i know it's a bit of a sad topic to talk about but we can always concentrate on the emphasizing the need to be there for each other and not add up to the tearing up each other down.
Rhyzzle Rani Eladio Thank you for mentioning this! I think supporting each other in our dreams and careers as well as getting through the realistic challenges particular to women are far more important for girlfriends than shopping, physical appearance, and talking about more emotional topics, etc that were mentioned here.
it's not that these are not important and of course, we're happy that these exists. but this is just something i wanted to bring up :) especially when i heard that sexism is still prevalent in the work place.
I love Jenn, we are so similar! But I wish Remi was a bit more vocal in this lunch break though In my experience, I have always had trouble making friends. I'm super shy and socially awkward so I haven't had any very close female friends in years. I am also a hard person to get to know and warm up to. I get jealous of those who have such close and strong relationships sometimes
Do any guys in the comments have legit friend break ups? As a guy, I have never had one, and I don't know any guy that has either. Obviously, I've drifted apart from some friends and lost contact, but I've never had a real friend break up. How about you guys?
Amazing job Jen!! Ah I love these, it's so refreshing to hear women talk ( no offense guys ). What about the topic: Women in the film industry (doesn't have to be Asian women, just in general).
random note: would like to know what you guys are having for lunch for every lunch break episode, even if it's like a 2-second "we're having salad today"! (you guys did that in the earlier episodes)
All of these ladies are excellent role models for us all. I kinda got a crush on Julie now though... also as a dude I sometimes eat a giant salad for lunch just because I enjoy it.
Gosh - who were their gfs? I had great gfs who I could be straightforward and be myself. In my career as well , it is the ladies who will defend me and push me upwards. So yes, girlfriends and girlbosses are the bomb!
Shout out to Jen for being more vocal and active since her first Lunch Break.
kawaiiafangirl yessss we all love jenn
Jen identifies as shy and introverted but she does such a great job at moderating these lunch break discussions! Noticed that she’s done several since becoming the only female at Wong Fu Productions - go Jen! Keep up the awesomeness!!! 😘
Awww TENKU 😭💕 the introversion just means I find my strengths in small groups and deeper discussions! werk with what you got!
Jennifer Le - ahhhhh...I totally get that. People who meet me when I’m working think that I’m an extrovert since I need to be outgoing and communicative with customers, however it takes a lot of energy for me to be that way since I’m not naturally like that. JanaLovesGav actually I’m pretty sure Jen said once that she’s an extrovert
so much asian female goodness in this!! 💪🏼❤️
You are also a BOSS asian girl! 💕🤗
i can just imagine chris and benson editing this nodding their heads as they became more and more enlightened 🤣
Phil vs Cheese looks like this was edited by a female wong fu intern 😅
It’s always interesting seeing the difference between girl friends and guy friends.
JENN-uine friendships at Wong Fu :D
HAHA i was just about to comment that
puns always welcome at wong fu 😁
oh finally someone else mentioned friend crushes! i thought i was the only one lol
i think once girls start liking each other, we really devote a lot to each other and are super attached. so i think a definite pro about female friendships is how strong the bonds are and that they will last. i would do anything for my close female friends and they would do the same for me.

This is why I love Wong Fu! They’re a ray of positivity in such a dim and depressing world. ✨
Jen, my friend went to the hair salon and she showed your picture to the lady and literally demanded "MAKE ME LOOK LIKE HER!" 🤣
I'd probably do that too if my hair was longer. you're always hair goals♡
Can you tell me what she told her stylist? Because idk how I even get my hair cut 😂 honored thooooooo! 🙌🏻
Kudos to Jen for moderating the discussion so selflessly!!! It was such pleasure seeing you pulling it off so flawlessly!
So happy to see an All-Girls Lunch Break! For the next one, maybe it should be geared towards first dates/relationship advice from a girl's perspective or just one related to the girl power within the media industry :)
To the Wong Fu team: HIRE MORE WOMEN PLEASE! Jenn shouldn't be the only one on there.
KIWIgirl2014 there are actually but they are mostly behind the camera.
yay!! Videos with Jen are the best!
Remi, Julie, Cathy, and Jenn ?? 4 of my inspirations!!!
Woohoo!!! Jenn leading the way for all ladies lunch break!!!

yes! i feel like nobody's ever talked about friend crushes before! but i meet so many awesome girls that i want to be friends with and i'm like....how do i get you to like me and not be creepy? HAHAHA thanks for an awesome lunch break!
hahaha as nerve racking as an actual crush 😂
i love this! i'm going to make the effort to ask more girls on friend dates!
yes yes! be unashamed to initiate! 😊
there's so much [asian] girl power and i love it!!!! i hope there's more girl lunch breaks in the future, this totally made me feel better about being a girl!
also, shoutout to Jenn for leading this lunch break! you did so well, you go girl!!!!
Yay!!! Loved this episode!!!! #girllove

Yessss to all of this! I love my guy friends but there’s just something very comforting about my female friendships!
Julie used to be the one girl in our group of friends back home in SD before she moved to LA.
We're obviously a group of silly people, just like her.
I always struggled making friends. I’m just too reserved and quiet. I’m trying to work on it tho
this has so much sunshine & rainbows in it. lol! I love it too, Jen!
loved this video! it's also cool to see how Jenn has changed/grown over time. she's so relatable!
I really appreciate the honesty and positivity of the girls conversation. It’s great insight into the female mind for boys and girls.
i just wanna say i'm so proud for Jenn for stepping out of her comfort zone so much by leading these discussions and doing such a terrific job!! go go girl! you inspire me!
Cathy should just be a normal addition to lunch break since shes an OG WONG FU FAM 😎
This video came out 16 minutes ago?? why am i only getting a notification now???!!
Smiley Chan youtube failing... again...
I really liked this episode's topic and guests, especially because we don't see them as often. The whole thing was pretty similar to how I talk to some of my friends too. It was also nice having Jenn be the host because her voice is kind of calming.
I LOVE JULIE!! NEED MORE OF HER IN MAH LIFE!!

I definitely agree but somehow I can't seem to get past the acquaintance part of it all. :'(

Those gifs get me everytime 🤣
Jen is beautiful, flawless, open minded, gorgeous, trendy, kind, nice, fabulous, and amazing. What a millennial icon!

same as the opinions before, Jen is great with hosting!! more jen!

Do any guys in the comments have legit friend break ups? As a guy, I have never had one, and I don't know any guy that has either. Obviously, I've drifted apart from some friends and lost contact, but I've never had a real friend break up. How about you guys?
