My wife and I don't have a history of any kind of wood working. We built a little table for our backyard. It wasn't supposed to be good looking, just functional--a temporary solution. We used 1/2" x 6" pine for the top then 2x2s for the frame/legs. Just kind of made it up as we went. Attached the top to the frame, attached straight legs and realized they needed reinforcement so put in cross beams. That was almost 4 years ago. It's still standing. The kids use it for toys in the dirt part of the yard (we purposely left it unlandscaped so they would have a place for their tractors and stuff. Had a sandbox there the first year after building the home and hated the sand mixing with the grass and everything else in the yard--boys like to fill their dump trucks and take that stuff places). Watching your video was extremely enlightening for how we could do it a lot better if we wanted a nice decorative and functional table. Thank you for these videos. Also sorry if I comment a lot, my brother has a channel he's trying to grow and so I know how youtube calculates interaction in the form of watchtime, likes, and comments in order to promote the video. You can check out his channel if you want. His focus is bushcrafting/outdoor survival stuff. ruclips.net/user/HalfInsaneOutdoorguy

@@HomeProHero Really true. I am a little behind on your videos. I like to chain watch them, so letting a few come out. Thanks for the help with the aquarium stand. I gotta do our taxes, then we're building that. So maybe today if I get enough time, but I'm also watching the kids while my wife is with her dad in the ER. So we'll see what we can get done.
