You don’t have to rub it in, just hold the can far away enough from your body that the spray angle is wide enough to properly coat your skin. It works like spray paint.

Even better after a toke if you’re into weed. It’s the same nice but illegal feeling you get when you eat ice cream for dinner the first time when your whole life everyone has told you you’re not allowed. It’s good fun that hurts no one and brings joy to you, what could be better? 10/10 recommend. Don’t forget to ditch the sopping wet clothes in the bathroom before you get out though or your floors and bed will hate you.
