What an absolute tour de force of a plot structure, with echoes of issues of the present resonating throughout. Just excellent sci-fi, beautifully written and superbly narrated through the colony Mars series all the way to this grand conclusion. It’s been decades since I’ve been truly captivated like this. Mr. Kerby, Thank-you for uploading your content. It's a privilege to be able to listen, especially for the many of us that have difficulty reading. May I offer one suggestion? I think your chapter headings are mild spoilers that reveal to much about the coming resolution of the chapter, thus taking away from the excellent suspense you have developed. Perhaps, having a chapter heading that is a little more cryptic would continue to build the suspense and intrigue you have so expertly crafted. Thank-you again for your excellent work. I am looking forward to finding out where the story goes next. Dan Kuchar
When driving through a lightning storm you are advised to stay in your car and avoid touching metal parts, the rubber tires will insulate the car from grounding and provide protection to the passing.
3:36:45, if a stack of packing crates was hit by a "plasma" bolt, it would catch fire, plasma is thousands of degrees,our local star is made of plasma.
Why do they need to reboot the QI? It was never stated that something happened to it. Also, why would they need to bring a new FTL communication device? The QI already has one… This sort of stuff in stories bothers me. Suddenly, something is wrong “for a reason” (aka to drive the plot, even though it doesn’t make any sense with the established story so far)
i want to write the same comment, but instead i find our ;) it bother me too, it is the main story and make it so lame it is huge (((((I had already turned a blind eye to the fact that it was so easy to deliver a bomb to the cruiser and that when there was a diversionary maneuver, all the soldiers left the shuttles without leaving a single patrol. but with Athena it’s a total failure((((
Is it just me or does RUclips play the narrators voice slower than usual? Or does he read the novel very slow? I always need to play it at 1.25 speed. But the optimal speed would have been 1.2 like in storytel.
Book 3 all finished. I am happy Scott found his girlfriend and baby . I hope the QI s control the world and other planets systems better then the megalomanic 7 did. Is there anymore books in the Belt series?

I thought so too for a minute, but there was a part in the book about how the Quantum comuniction devices have to be built together in pairs to work.
