Your hair is gorgeous. Thank you so much for recommending a 3-point rotation if you are concerned about scalp showing. I haven't gotten my locs yet, but that's great information to know. When watching other videos, people stated the 4-point rotation gives more volume. Is that true?
Hi beautiful 🤎 Thank you and you’re welcome! That’s interesting that you saw that and it’s different from what I’ve seen. From my research, it’s the 3-point rotation that gives more volume (hence more scalp coverage) because it’s looser/fuller; 4-point is a tighter loc.
@@kahinamatata it has been going great !! October 6 and 7 was my install my hair was about 21/2 to 3inches it had grown and most of my hair is lock, some of the ends are loose but I don't mind. I was struggling with how short it was and I was very uncomfortable for the first five months it has thicken up and now I am loving it !!.😊
I follow you on Instagram and actually I guess missed the ends 🥴 it looks pretty much the same length to me, maybe because you kept the same shape? Good to follow you on RUclips as well beautiful 🤗

That’s a great thing 🤣 I only cut off the ends that were very straight (and have recently found a few more lol); most ends weren’t straight so the overall length was able to stay the same. This is true! The way I’ve been thinking about it lately is it’s just like when you get braids/twists, that scalp is going to show lol it’s just a shift for me coming from my typical pre-loc’d hair look
I’m still watching the video but I will tell you one negative thing about sister locks, they will SHRINK so bad. Lol. But they get a lot of body volume then they start growing in length.
