I’m from Indiana and worked in Texas for nine months. It really helped me to understand the Mexican culture so much better. I spent a lot of time in South Texas and the dance halls in Austin as well. There’s nothing like it. The people are genuine and lovely. This music will stay with me forever As much as the warmth of the people I met while I was there.
I have a cousin named Randy Rogers... I sure do wish he sang this good! Best wishes from an Oklahoman with South Texas roots... A Rednexican, if you will. I'm now subbed to both bands. Here's hoping this style of music catches on... There is only so much country-rock-pop BS a man can stand!
