We all miss Sir Roger Moore his presence, humor, elegance, cleverness, always positive attitude, humility, and many qualities. Here in my family we loved all bond movies, plus saint and the persuaders series. He was like a family member and a role model. Best Regards from Venice, Italy.
Roger is always so charming in interviews. He comes across as relaxed, and appreciative for the opportunities offered to him...he doesn't take himself too seriously, and is too happy to talk about his 007 experiences! Fans should soak this up, because actors like him are a rare breed.
Even at 84 he was so handsome. What a talented actor with abundant charm and wit- certainly a treasure, national and beyond. Rest in peace, never will be forgotten I think.
ive said this so many times,if i was 2% of the man this guy is id be very happy.his best work imo was what he did for unicef.here here sir roger ,we applaud you ...
R.i.p....the great Rodger Moore...watched his bond films as a child..pure escapism. ..a first class human being...and that's all any of us can hope to be....thanks for the memories Rodger
A truely charming man who did a tour of his native country two years before he died. I saw him when he came to my home town of Cambridge. His best piece of work where he really had to act was the not well known British film 'The man who haunted himself'. He acknowledged that too.
What can you do but admire this great gentleman. Ever since I first saw him in The Persuaders, then the Saint repeats, (I was too young to see The Saint when they came out), then going to the cinema to see James Bond, he's been the actor I'd most like to meet, - and in my work, I met Sir Dirk Bogarde and Sir Christopher Lee; both great men of the British cinema and sadly no longer with us. Long live Sir Roger and his lovely wife who always look so happy.
Being directed by Noël Coward in a TV special in New York when you're about 30, and he talks about it like it's the most natural thing in the world. What a man, so likeable.
Thoroughly enjoyed him as Bond,.,,,,James Bond.......all the other Bonds were good but he was my favorite. Loved the scene in Live and Let Die where his immaculately dressed Bond walks into the african american club. What a comedic contrast. His best film was The Spy Who Loved Me. Roger Moore is the best!!
If we all lived by the maxim: Roger More, think how happy we would be 😂Class, humility, good looks....this guy is just like me😂 RIP Rog. You were the greatest ✌
He agrees to an interview and every time he is open funny and kind. A lesson for all those up themselves actors who are moody, don’t like the questions don’t really want to be there. Wonderful Roger❤
CBE ,commander of the British empire, well he was a commander in the bond films, he deserved every honour he ever got, a true gentleman alongside David Niven RIP 🙏🙏
good interviewer actually, asks questions based on what the subject is talking about and lets the conversation follow a natural course, Moore of course is an interview friendly subject, he has some great funny stories.
This Sanctum, Angel, he is just the greatest most luuvable actor, in all of motion picture history, that planet Ocean-Earth ever had the pleasure, to live and happily enjoy, what, what a beautiful guy; whom will always live happily in brightest of all bluest of heavens " I really really love you, super Roger".
and roger hey ,by far the best bond...well the thinking mans bond .takes wit to beat villains as well which for me made roger very convincing in the bond role.as bond he went straight in to the heart of the danger but used his wit to over come all the odds.his face offs with the villains are just so superb .the saint was totally awesome as well.no wonder they wanted him to play bond first,he couldn't he was doing the saint.i love all the bonds but roger just tips the scales for me...amazing human being
I still remember in 1983, after the finishing touches of Octopussy. He said "No Moore Bond After Octopussy". A View To A Kill was his last James Bond film.
A true gentleman, humanitarian great actor! Class act! I grew up with Sir Roger Moore from Saint, Maverick , Persuaders then Bond! Always knew he'd be Bond after Connery! And then UNICEF! He and Audrey Hepburn were great friends, she introduced him to UNICEF! Roger said in his book My Word is Bond that was his greatest achievement! For the children! If you've ever seen a film! Of Roger in the field for UNICEF, the children adore him and vise a versa! A true genuine kind soul! I will always love Roger! Thank you darling for the memories, your talent to entertain and inspire! Never to be forgotten! When I get to heaven , it will be lovely to meet you! Rip dating Roger! God bless you💖💖💖
Sir Roger is my Bond, I was too young for Connery, I've often thought being a successful film actor require 99% good looks and 1% talent or luck, It can't be a coincidence all the biggest stars are ridiculously attractive
Hi from England. On looking at pics of Roger it may be around 2003/2004 17 years ago when he would have been around 77/78? I would think no later He was a great MAN

Absolutely agreed. He is a total gentleman in these interviews. Ernie does a great job in interviewing him.
So true, so true.
Ryan Hunter Yes, but he, by his own admission, was a lousy actor.
Roger passing is a real loss. I would love to have met him or bought him a pint. What a lovely guy.

Sir Roger Moore, a Citizen of the World, and a Gentleman, to boot! What a wonderful Ambassador for UNICEF, and the Child :-)

No doubt about it. Roger Moore was the best of Bonds. He brought humor and cool to the part.

The quintessential English gentleman.
good interviewer actually, asks questions based on what the subject is talking about and lets the conversation follow a natural course, Moore of course is an interview friendly subject, he has some great funny stories.
I agree - he does a great job which is really rare these days. Many interviewers are more concerned about how they come across. Great Interview.
Agreed here too. It's not scripted and with more general interest questioning.
Ps. Ernie great interviewer. Great questions and interested in what Roger said 👏❤️
The greatest James Bond of all time, Sir Roger Moore himself!
The BEST bond!
This is a grand interview!
and roger hey ,by far the best bond...well the thinking mans bond .takes wit to beat villains as well which for me made roger very convincing in the bond role.as bond he went straight in to the heart of the danger but used his wit to over come all the odds.his face offs with the villains are just so superb .the saint was totally awesome as well.no wonder they wanted him to play bond first,he couldn't he was doing the saint.i love all the bonds but roger just tips the scales for me...amazing human being
Yes I have The Saint on dvd. You are right, he was amazing in that series. He was just so cool. I wish I could have met him.
I still remember in 1983, after the finishing touches of Octopussy.

A great British actor he was very dry very witty and my favourite Jame Bond he gave Bond Humour.
Seems like a relaxed easy going guy.

Darling Roger, corrected😊💖💖💖💖
Sophisticated, charming, charismatic man. Gentle soul, born comedian who makes Connery look as rough as a bears rear end.
Class Act! On AND off camera!
No ego. At least he tries not to show it. Very modest. Very few have that trait.
Sir Roger is my Bond, I was too young for Connery, I've often thought being a successful film actor require 99% good looks and 1% talent or luck, It can't be a coincidence all the biggest stars are ridiculously attractive

Whoever the five tossers are that gave this the thumbs down, you must be fucking fun to live with.
They might be fun. They might be formidable and charismatic bond villains.

Gerald Herrmann 7 official bond movies.
Connery had 6 official 1 unofficial bond
RIP roger
Don't forget Ivanhoe and Maverick!
17:31 is he lying?
18:10 onwards made the interviewer awkward and he soon changed subject.
You just had to mention Spice World didn't you, lol.
Saint Laurent
Would you like a Martini Mr. Moore??? Shaken Not stirred right??
Suits ties mens maker
Loved his movies expect for all this save the HUEmans crap. Like we don't have enough stupid useless viral humans in this hell.
