I had a 4.6 4V swapped new edge GT. It weighed just over 3200 lbs with me in it and made 353 rwhp on a DynoJet through 4.10s…that car pissed so many cars off it was unreal. Ported blower 03/04 Cobras, bolt on GT500, C5s of all variations. Reminds me a lot of the same phenomenon with this 370.
Now imagine all the mopar salt getting amplified because you hellcat swapped a Z chassis. (Please don't, but the swap would make an uncontrollable beast any way)

I got an 84 c4 with original motor rocking a stage 1 cam, with new rock rollers, head work, 3 inch exhaust work all the way and air hood mod. Trust me it frees up the ponies hidden in the car.

Another guy took the path I may go someday, which is a built motor, and his new dyno posted is at 511whp with the turbo kit. Travis at MT Motorsports said their customer drag car is at 600whp right now with the MAP sensor set up. It is making me reconsider going for LS3 swap. Do rods, pistons, bearings, etc. like Travis recommended me, and then throw on turbo kit with MAP sensor and fuel, and it would get me to my 450 to 500whp goal. unless you plan on getting a 2jz or lower mileage Z i wouldnt dare sell it. unless you got major mechanical issues. the engines these cars come with (de, hr, vhr) are extremely reliable compared to the competitors especially if the previous owners werent abusive and were timely with all maintenance. Gs and Zs have made themselves known in the car community for a reason. get a true CAI, 75mm throttle body, strut and sway bars and a tune thats all the mods you need to turn this car into a full on little beast. even making the exhaust less restrictive will help a lot. throw a single exit exhaust on.

It was sitting on my drive for a good few years but changed the clutch and battery and she started up beautifully. It’s just costing a lot on petrol to be quite honest. I had a Renault Clio 2004 automatic previously so this has been a big change. There’s a lot of regulations coming into the UK around driving it with ULEZ and other stupid shit like that being extended so I’m really unsure as if it’ll be worth keeping. I couldn’t even tell you what’s been done to it because like I said I’m clueless hahah🥲😅

However once you start getting into the 1000s of hp the VR38DDTT takes the cake, the most hp I've seen out of a built VQ37 is around 1300whp, only reason being the VQ block isn't near as strong or has as much aftermarket as the VR38DDTT does

what do u currently have ? better get on facebook market place or offerup. the prices starting to climb back up again for Gs and Zs, people in my car groups selling theirs with less than 80k miles for around 6-12k . these are the new budget tuners of choice for people who cant afford to blow money on the higher quality jdm like silvias, supras etc. i own 04 g35 sedan and even stock its enough power from the factory to have a little fun so imagine what a few good mods + tune would do. you can get lucky and find one cheap if you dont rush, i payed 3.5k for mine with 130k miles and clean title with only 2 previous owners.
and when i say selling theirs im referring to all models between 03-08/09(HR and DE only) this excludes the VQ-VHR engines in later models because those are even more expensive.

what do u currently have ? better get on facebook market place or offerup. the prices starting to climb back up again for Gs and Zs, people in my car groups selling theirs with less than 80k miles for around 6-12k . these are the new budget tuners of choice for people who cant afford to blow money on the higher quality jdm like silvias, supras etc. i own 04 g35 sedan and even stock its enough power from the factory to have a little fun so imagine what a few good mods + tune would do. you can get lucky and find one cheap if you dont rush, i payed 3.5k for mine with 130k miles and clean title with only 2 previous owners.
and when i say selling theirs im referring to all models between 03-08/09(HR and DE only) this excludes the VQ-VHR engines in later models because those are even more expensive.
