WOW....finally a really good demo of this amp. I can’t decide between this amp and the Dirty Shirley mini. The Runt has a bite to it that is spectacular....where the mini seems a bit warmer, especially when clean. Great job, my friend. I enjoyed every second of this.

Great review my friend. I have the Runt now and I am dialing it in. Running two syn-2s in the loop with an H9 and an ES-8 with an assortment of pedals. It's a whole new level.

I don’t but I usually use it like this…if a want lead sustain boost…I’ll use diode clipping and I would cut highs…when I want a boost for crunchy sounds I’ll use the up position And no High cut
so my question is do you run the EP Booster pedal "on" along with the Golden pearl at the same time? As it looks like the light is on on the EP Booster pedal.
All the pedals are connected to a switcher si they are on all the time…
I keep coming back to this video. So good. This amp is in many ways my dream amp. How is the master volume on this thing? I’d likely use it with a Captor for attenuation full time when at home (-20db) but wondering between the attenuator and the master volume if I could also use this at bedroom volumes.
Nice thing Kip!…the master volume is great!…now if you use a load you’ll get awesome power amp saturation and there it is even better…
so what cab or are you using or are you going out direct via the cab clone? can you explain your signal path from the speaker out jack to?
Sure...it's my Ibanez Thermion cab ( a hidden 4x12 jewel! ) and it has 2 V30s ( new...Chinese? ) and 2 77' Blackbacks 55 hz...those two are just awesome!...and 1 shure 57 on the dust cap for each speaker ( 2 mics ), blended to taste inside Pro Tools, a little Eq, nothing dramatic and Delay and Reverb also from Pro Tools...

If you have V30 speakers…pretty much everything at noon…you need a Les Paul as well!

It’s good…but for ultra Shred Gainy you’ll need a good OD in front to take it to that level
