I loved the design of the line chart. Also using it as a 1x1 small multiples chart is such a time saver to get the selected value in the title. Great tip!

Just one quick suggestion if you can further explain in most important lines what it does WRT to syntax if would be beneficial to viewer ,since most of the viewers are having basic/intermediate level of understanding of the dax and in these examples there are many parts which amalgamate. So viewer might easily lost in the middle.

If I had just one suggestion, it would be to add some of that great SQLBI pizzazz. Voice inflection and facial expressions really help to keep the listener engaged for the entirety of the video.
I solved this same problem for a really important report, I needed to know which of my kids is the better runner, based on their 2k time and their age on the race date. My question is, it was really simple to calculate in Power Query, just needed parameters for their birth dates, so what are the scenarios where this DAX approach would be better?
Hello dear friends, great video as always. I'm having a problem perhaps you can help me. I have a RANKX measure that works perfectly fine except when I apply a filter on the column being ranked. The measure is like this: Customer Ranking = RANKX(ALL(Customers[Customer Name]), [Sales Amount], ,DESC, Dense) It is displayed on a table visual and works well. However, when I apply a slicer filter on Customer Name (the column being ranked) then the rank of that customer increases by 1. So for example if customer James Johnson had a rank of 4 on the table, when I use the slicer to filter James Johnson his rank on the table shows up as 5. This doesn't happen when applying any other filter (e.g. Product Category). How can I solve this? Customers is a dimension table connecting to the Sales fact table through the column Customer ID. Thank you very much for the videos as always!
One more strange thing: This doesn't happen when another filter is applied on top of Customer Name. So if I filter for Product Category and then on top of that filter a single Customer Name, the rank is displayed correctly in this case.
