Im.glad someone has taken the time to figure out how to do this. These stereo component are of the best ever made for being flexible with adding other devices. The new surround systems suck. Very proprietary
Wouldn't it be more elegant to add a Bluetooth receiver adder board and mount it inside the chassis? An antenna could be used to receive signal. The Bluetooth circuit boards are cheap. I have a design for a small audio player that is principally designed for use on a bike, although it can be used anywhere you need music. Two-3" full-range marine speakers are used for output. I discovered a wealth of Bluetooth amp and receiver circuit boards, sold online. Of course, this type of install requires some soldering skill and knowledge of signal interference. No cross talk wanted!
not sure if anyone gives a shit but if you are stoned like me during the covid times you can stream all the new series on Instaflixxer. I've been streaming with my brother for the last few weeks =)
This is great. I really enjoy your channel. Do you have a video for connecting blue tooth to an old car stereo? 8 have an old Craig S-280 radio/8 track player. I’ve made 14 volt power supply for it but I don’t get good am/fm reception where I am. If I could blue tooth it it would revive it. Thank you.
That old under dash is cool. Ive installed a few in my day:) Only way I can think of adding BT to it would be to tap into the volume control. That is inline before the decks main amplifier.
I have a vintage Pioneer A9 Integrated Amplifier that is at an electronics repair shop for a blown channel. I want to go blue-tooth as most of my music collection is either CD's or albums.(yeah, old school) It's time to go blue-tooth. I've watched a few of your informative videos. I'm leaning towards the Blu Dento BLT=HD or Audioengine B1. Please send your recommendations. Thank you very much
The new BLT-HD would be my choice. If you "need" to spend close to 200 bucks then I would go with the iFi Audio Zen Blue V2 I have a video on that device.
Just wondering, what is the input voltage of the Bluetooth, what range does it take? OK, Stupid question, they are designed for a car so around 15 volts DC
Great Question... The volume on the BT unit is a bit lower than all of the other modes, so to fix this problem I made this video. ruclips.net/video/OcJzLM7b8GQ/видео.html
I've been so confused about installing the bluedento can you make a full install video and showing step-by-step instructions and list additional thing's that are needed. I would like to install bluedento for my old Bose surround sound system for my TV as well but I can't get it to work on my stereo.
Have you ever added multiple Bluetooth receivers to a home stereo? So that for example Aux1 pairs to the iphone, Aux2 to the kindle, Aux3 to seomthing else?
I connected a blue tooth device to my record player but the sound quality I got was a thumbs down very poor compared to using cable. I've yet to try 5.0 with AptX HD&Low Latency hoping that will make a big difference to the sound
@@breakerbroke23 Its a Sony PS-HX500 I dont get any hum if I connect direct to my hifi so I guess it has. The manual dosen't state this is needed either.
That TT looks to have both a line out and Phono pre out. try using the Phono out to your BT device. Line out is if your receiver has a built in phono amp, phono out is used for receivers that do not have a built in phono amp. say using an AUX or CD in on your receiver.
great stuff. I have a question i hope you can answer. I built a wildlife electronic caller using a Lepy -2020a mini amp. With it i am using an old sony walkman cd player and a 6x9 audio speaker. Would this bluetooth adapter in this video work to convert my wildlife caller from cd player to bluetooth so i can use my android phone to play wildlife sounds. My Lepy mini amp has rca plug outlets and 3.5 mm jack.thanks
Can you answer this question? My Center Speaker died and I miss the Subwoofer input. I’m now using my Bose SL111 Aux input for my TV Speaker. I have a Sony Subwoofer SA - WA200. All I was using was a single 6 ft. Phono cable from the Center Speaker to the Subwoofer. My question “Can I use the digital audio on the TV to power the Powered Subwoofer along with the Audio Out of the TV to the Bose SL111 at the same time? If not - can I make the Subwoofer a Bluetooth Speaker to the TV along with the Bose SL111?
The pre amp level of your TV will be a fixed output, so you would not be able to adjust the volume of the sub with the tv. I mean you could try hooking up the way you explained but Im almost 100% sure you will have no adjustability. But give it a shot ( it wont blow up or anything like that)...... I could be wrong.
Well yes and no. Watch this video.... ruclips.net/video/wt3_pedSlrA/видео.html When you hook up the AC adapter you could use a switched outlet on the back of your receiver to power it up. The Miccus RTX will still need to be outside of the receiver due to the need to pair to different devices when introduced to the RTX. I have not yet seen a good quality Transmitter to solely do the job where we could stealth mount..... Yet.
instead of trying to find a spot on the board for power it would be much easier and safer to use the power for the light bulbs ( usually 7 ~ 16 volts )on older receivers, and they have low cost ( less than $5 ) and very small bt boards to mount internally that will run off 5-16 volts no wall wart needed. DONT FORGET... get one that pairs automatically unless you want to take the cover off a lot! LOL
@@breakerbroke23 I have an old JBL Bluetooth speaker that stopped connecting to the new phones or tablets we purchased. It’s a great sounding speaker and fairly pricey. So I didn’t want to throw it out. How do Change the Bluetooth component inside the unit? Have you ever opened up a consumer level powered speaker and upgraded just the Bluetooth portion ?
Does the spk connect to your old devices. If so then the BT receiver inside may still be good. If not, its toast. The BT receiver is built into the main PC board on those JBLs. My flip 4 died at 2 years. Man was I pissed! The JBLs sound great and yes I have opened them up, they seem to be very well built. But not long lasting. IMHO.. Maybe I just got a bad unit. You can always rob parts from your speaker. The drivers anyway. Might come in handy for a project:) I filmed a video awhile ago showing a tear down of my flip4. I need to find the file and load up to YT. Cheers and thanks for subscribing..
I have seen that sometimes one of the devices in that Y configuration will drag down the other components out put. You could Y off two units but I would want to switch out between the units. If you would like I can do a video on how to do this. May take me a while to get it filmed \ I have done this many times back in the day:)
Getting power of the power supply and not further down the circuit, the BT adapter draws only 100ma or less. So it will be just fine. I do see your point and an easy mistake to make if not careful. I was lucky with this unit being 14v. Cheers

Thanks so much I was looking every for a video like this
I liked your project but wish you would have shown the soldering as this is the most challenging aspect of the build. Still thumbs up.
"Fusion BT 100 Bluetooth Receiver". Good suggestion.

Keep it in the 12 - 15 volt range.
