Nice videos. I've been doing this for many years with only a couple of variations. I chose to use 1x6 or 8 (lighter for older folks) and scab 1" cutoffs on the ends for a tight fit in the grooves. Also, I prefer to drill 3/4" holes along the top edge of the divider for bungee cords or ropes to prevent items sliding side to side banging together. YMMV Keep up the great work.
I like how you partitioned off that area in the back of the truck. I prefer mine right up forward. If you never not strapped the rear end of your camper down because you were just going to the hardware store for some turnbuckles you would know how the rear of the truck bucks when you go over a speed bump, or other anomalies in the road. Well. Things get tossed up in the air quite roughly. So I prefer to place things forward. Thanks, people with pickup trucks should be more aware of containing and trying their loads down better.👍
Good, simple fix. No reason to get too fancy like several other videos I've watched. Only thing I may do is spray the 2 x 10 black to go with the look of my spray in bed liner. Probably Raptor Liner spray since I have an extra can left over. It's pretty durable stuff. Thanks!

A truck has been our only vehicle for 30 years. I did that because I got tired of chasing my groceries.

I did the same and added some perpendicular to the long board to have that stuff slide back and forth less
