I took a friend who is a novice to the range today for the second time in a month. Education and practice is critical.!! It's not just for men, but for everyone. I sent my daughter to a concealed carry course and I take her to the range whenever she's in town. I've tried to encourage my wife to join us. Self protection is just as important as understanding how to change a tire. That's when you're most vulnerable and need to be aware and get yourself out of a bad situation.

I appreciate the discrete use of tactical terminology, Christa! It's sad to live in a time where one thinks twice before volunteering at church because of a requirement to be fingerprinted, and to be in a position to no longer trust those in authority. At any rate, God is good, now and forever, I appreciate the reminders, and just like the passage advises, just because we have God given freedoms and constitutional rights, 1A, 2A etc. it's important to remember that these require wisdom to apply! I would recommend you get rid of that holster immediately. Soft holsters like this can lead to negligent discharges. You need a good kydex that completely covers the trigger. I use Crossbreed for AIWB and Safariland ALS for OWB.

My opinion on training is to get involved with IDPA shooting competitions. IDPA is the International Defensive Shooting Association. A series of defensive shooting senarios that give the shooter a lot of instances to draw a reference from. This is something that gives you nessessary experience to perform in actual shooting instances. Try to refrain from looking at IDPA competition as a gaming development. One thing that has helped me is faster reloading. Not only faster reloads of magazines for pistols. Including extremally faster revolver reloads using speed loaders or moon clips. One thing I improved on was quick follow up shots with a bolt action rifle. Most people are as slow as molasses on a cold January day with bolt rifles. For this technique you hold the bolt handle with your thumb and index finger. Your middle finger pulls the trigger. You don't necessarily need a semi automatic rifle to shoot fast. Another is a modified point blank aiming technique. No pistol sights are used to aim the hand gun. You keep both eyes open for this technique. Must know your dominant eye. Your dominant eye sees the rear of your handgun. The other eye sees the target. The two images cross in your brain for interpretation of what you see. You hit what you see very quickly. Notice all those gun fighters in the 1800's had only a front blade for sights. Yet they were very fast and accurate. Try some IDPA competition. Soon enough you will be a better shooter.
Glad you decided to deal with this, Christa... I've enjoyed so much about your channel, but this is very important. Please reconsider something other than the HiPoint. Yes, they usually work and are cheap. That is the good now for the bad. HiPoint is heavy, low capacity, a disasembly nightmare, and made with cheap materials. The c9 you are showing is the same capacity as a glock 43 that can fit in a pocket but is larger and heavier than a Glock 19, which is one of the most popular carry guns. Unlike most guns on the market, the HiPoint requires a punch tool and a hammer to disassemble. I suggest you get a Smith and Wesson M&P 9mm or their Shield. Ruger is another great American brand, too. Both use better quality materials than HiPoint and will last longer, too.

As a Christian it's hard to think about having to do this but I will if it means protecting my family and have had to draw it in the past and I would have done what had to be done. Police arrived 2 hours later. Therefore, I taught my daughter at an early age about guns, bought her a small caliber rifle at age 10. She could out shoot me! My parents were career military and instilled in me safety and personal protection. Sometimes help does not come and we must stand and fight.
As a former Law Enforcement Officer myself let me advise you right now that you should talk to the police without your lawyer being present. If you are giving a statement with your lawyer present then pause before answering any questions in order to let your lawyer intervene if anything concerning to him or her were to arise.
If you choose to not use the best tools for the task you will regret not having the best tool and not knowing how to operate it well. If you are a pacifist, good for you, be a complete pacifist and chose to accept the consequences of it now. Do not use non-violence as an excuse to avoid accepting the realities of life. Face it, think about it and choose as you will. That is the prepping mindset in a nutshell.
If a defense plan is what you fall back to, then IMHO, you are hosed already. You, me, we. There needs to be an offense plan. Not a defense plan. You can disagree but the day you remember that the statement is correct is the day its too late.

35 And He said to them, “When I sent you without money bag, knapsack, and sandals, did you lack anything?”
So they said, “Nothing.”
36 Then He said to them, “But now, he who has a money bag, let him take it, and likewise a knapsack; and he who has no sword, let him sell his garment and buy one. 37 For I say to you that this which is written must still be [a]accomplished in Me: ‘And He was numbered with the transgressors.’ For the things concerning Me have an end.”
38 So they said, “Lord, look, here are two swords.”
And He said to them, “It is enough.”

as soon as it was used for violence it was repudiated, and Jesus gave an immediate pacifist scripture.

I have 6, 100 lb dogs that protect my home, so I don't have anything that anyone wants! I have a sign out saying that if you're hungry come and ask and you shall receive!!!

Lever action Henry 45 short rifle just like in the John Wayne movies. It's accurate and it will kill every time.😮
Nice work, friend.
Thank you, Lon!

Former military here I'm covered
Amen Sister!!
Karen here. If you have road rage issues, don't carry a weapon. If you have rage a anger issues, don't have guns "in the house." I have experience with this. Very good video though.
If u needed any proof shes just a normal person, she owns a hi point. Good for her. I believe even james from tfb tv says those things are reliable, although a little snappy being blowback action. Stay safe.
Rock on!
Thanks Christa
Thanks for Sharing 💥 🔫!
1911 was a great year!

Freedom berries and a berry dispenser.
Being British, my defence plan is a plastic spoon, a stern look and a witty retort.
ATTENTION: California business owners and their employees are legally allowed to possess a loaded and concealed firearm while working on company property without any kind of permit being required as per California Penal Code Sections 25605(a) and 26035... I would highly recommend that they do so.
Thank you for sharing this advice and information. God bless you
Thank you for the valuable information!
Glad it was helpful!
How good to see you Sister. Yur a gem. Great message.
Thank you, Brad!
@@PREPSTEADERS you are absolutely welcome sister. Good to see you. God bless and keep you. 😇
@@PREPSTEADERS ooooh. Sister. I've been making that comfry salve with olive oil and bees wax. 1 individual has a broken foot and 1week ago the doctor said her injury is healing well. I had given her some of the salve I made by your recipe and she applied it to her injured foot 3 times daily for 3 weeks prior to seeing the doctor. 👍
Ecclesiastes 3
Everything Has Its Time
3 To everything there is a season,
A time for every purpose under heaven:
2 A time [a]to be born,
And a time to die;
A time to plant,
And a time to pluck what is planted;
3 A time to kill,
And a time to heal;
A time to break down,
And a time to build up;
4 A time to weep,
And a time to laugh;
A time to mourn,
And a time to dance;
5 A time to cast away stones,
And a time to gather stones;
A time to embrace,
And a time to refrain from embracing;
6 A time to gain,
And a time to lose;
A time to keep,
And a time to throw away;
7 A time to tear,
And a time to sew;
A time to keep silence,
And a time to speak;
8 A time to love,
And a time to hate;
A time of war,
And a time of peace.
More and more, where you live matters, for many reasons.
Another great video, thank you
Take it from a Canadian, don't take this freedom for granted.
Membership not available to us here in washington state, ideas?
I see this insurance and honestly how do you know it really is everything they claim?
I understand, Kristen. Hopefully we never have to find out, but I read many of their testimonials and appreciate their good reputation.
I would stay away from pad locks. Get yourself some combination locks. No need to rush around looking for a key in time of an emergaecy.
Great job 👏
Hello there Mrs
Great video
Thanks!
Hello from Texas 😊
If you could do an episode about those who have to stay behind or won’t leave…and we aren’t able to afford self defense products or not physically able to do martial arts defense…and what to do about our pets….
It’s so sad to see the past year in the Ukraine that old people who couldn’t or were unable to leave … and all the pets left behind or their owners were killed and no one to care for the pets…not everyone is willing or able to c & c.
Such unfortunate times we live in 😢
Well said.
Thankyou and godless!
We no longer need a license to carry a concealed handgun in GA 😏(for Georgia residents who don't know)
Proper Training is a Must. If anyone feels that they couldn't fire if needed, then please Don't carry, in many cases, it will be taken and used on You!😉
As a Christian it's hard to think about having to do this but I will if it means protecting my family and have had to draw it in the past and I would have done what had to be done. Police arrived 2 hours later. Therefore, I taught my daughter at an early age about guns, bought her a small caliber rifle at age 10. She could out shoot me! My parents were career military and instilled in me safety and personal protection. Sometimes help does not come and we must stand and fight.
Does anyone know what version of the Bible Christa was reading from?
As a former Law Enforcement Officer myself let me advise you right now that you should talk to the police without your lawyer being present. If you are giving a statement with your lawyer present then pause before answering any questions in order to let your lawyer intervene if anything concerning to him or her were to arise.
Did you mistype this? Please check your 1st sentence again.
Eh. I’d rather have my lawyer present and clear headed with any discussion.
Hi, can someone explain why everyone says that God loves you, but then they say to fear God? I don’t understand, thanks 💜
I live in NYC. And we don't have any means of self defense.
Get out while you can. That city will be destroyed.
🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦 We are NOT ALLOWED self-defense in Canada
If a defense plan is what you fall back to, then IMHO, you are hosed already.
You, me, we. There needs to be an offense plan. Not a defense plan.
You can disagree but the day you remember that the statement is correct is the day its too late.
My plan is to stay off de fence......
Never, never, never talk to the cops.
Hebrews 10:34 You suffered along those in prison and joyfully accepted the plundering of your property because you knew you had eternal reward in the kingdom of heaven.
