Had some trouble with a Uline issued Pallet jack, and one fix not mentioned in the video is that there is an adjustable 'pin' underneath the foot pedal which may need to be loosened or tightened before the pallet jack will start to rise up

I know not all PJs have this pin feature but Uline is a very commonly sold PJ that includes this
