I have owned a speed triple 1200RS since May 2021. Apart from the odd new model issue, I can honestly say this bike is awesome, and yes I've owned a superduke R, and an aprilia tuono and the handling of this thing runs rings around them. On top of that the power delivery is unbelievably strong and smooth right from tickover, plus the top end rush is the best on any naked I've ever ridden. I tried the RR and the electronic suspension on that bike was amazing, but the riding position pure sports bike. Triumph should definitely offer the electronic semi active suspension on the RS as I would have paid the extra for it. The stylema brakes are simply amazing and can surprise you with the amount of power they have, but the electronics do a great job of reigning everything in. All in all, a great bike and a great job from triumph.
Brother, it's not only you who feels happy when hearing that a bike have a fuel gauge, personally I feel like my wife is pregnant with three humans although I don't have a wife or even ex for at last two decades, I saw my self in your face when you announced the fuel gauge, I know that feeling because that moment I forget all my problems and get very joyful to a degree I believe that the world is in peace and also everybody is partying 😀
My first motorcycle is a Speed 1200 RS I bought it 4 months ago and have never ridden any other motorcycles except those on which I passed my driving license about a year ago. Yes, for the first week I was a bit afraid of this bike and ride everywhere within the speed limits... but after a week it changed and I was already driving 180 km/h on a road with a limit of 90🤣 but such stuff did not happen often because I know very well that I am not a good motorcyclist. In addition, I am short and despite the slightly lowered seat (cut foam) my legs can barely reach the ground😄 and yeap I dropped it once but luckily nothing happened. If I could turn back time, I would buy the same motorcycle but much earlier because I only managed to do 2000 km and now the weather does not allow for a pleasant ride. Until spring! Regards
Very nice and positive review! Now i'm much more excited to get my new Speed Triple RS. Unfortunately i have to wait till march/april 2024, because the next 5 months is autumn/winter season here in northern europe. Many greetings to the Phillipines!
I had the orange one for about 7 months and the quickshifter failed twice. Repairs were covered by warranty but it’s just annoying to have to leave it at the workshop and wait for parts. To put things in perspective, I rode it once weekly.
100% with you on the lights! Went and looked at the Matt orange yesterday. You get all the “add ons” as standard, The rider position is amazing, Don’t have to pay for “track pack” so… it’s time to Px the 2019 1290sdr and say goodbye to ktm! They and others need to take note!
It would be helpful if people put model years in their description. Saying some feature or other is "brand new" is great, but I have no idea which year it was brand new in.
Ktm 1290 Super Duke and Triumph Speed Triple 1200RS. I would appreciate it if you could let me know the features, pros and cons of each model. And which model would you choose?
The headlight kinda resembles one of those alien insect heads that you see in the movies. Overall kinda love the bike. I wish I won the lottery so I can buy one.
I wanted to trade one of my Yamaha’s for this bike. But after a year of research, there were just too many owners with issues. Some small, some not. Really disappointing. 😂 But I’d take one for free 😜
What issues are you talking about and you think if this has issues try buying a KTM superduke that's one bike I won't trust I want to like it you got to love the power but I'm no mechanic that's the last thing I want to do is play games with a motorcycle I have no time to take it back to the dealer supposedly the KTM is the one with the most issues of any bike that's why I would go with this bike over the KTM.
@@richardcerritelli9657 I had two ktm’s over the years. One good, one cost me the bike basically. That’s just the roll of the dice. But I knew two riders personally who had issues with their triples, including recalls. Just put me off the bike, for now. Still love it, and would own one, just not for the $20k it would cost me here in the states. Cheers 👍

Hey Jinno , so you can see what the Speed triple 1200 RS can do on track(also shameless plug) heres a video of me on the my speedtriple 1200 RS on track ruclips.net/video/EkL-0n_MLZI/видео.html The bike can definitely do lower lap times ,it got way more capability than I have skills and balls haha

Correction. Street Triple is NOT the MT07 like. It is more like MT09 specs-wise. Trident is more MT07 like.
Closer to MT10 given the high horsepower and torque specs, as well as price range.
@@karsonsmith4328 The StreetTriple R's direct competitor is Yamaha's MT09. SpeedTriple R on the other hand is closer to Yamaha MT10.
@@jojiefigueroa1217 ah sorry. I misread the post and thought he had said speed triple 🤦♂️ yes, that would be correct.

It's not a motodeal Moto review without the low fuel gauge warning. 😅 Great review as always.
Shoe brand reveal. Please 🙏
I like the looks of the Speed Triple 1200 RR more than the RS. The RS headlight looked weird

The foot position doesn't look very comfortable, to far back?

I love it!
How can you say that Triumph Street Triple is like the Yamaha MT07? 😂
Superb
Does anyone ever go flat out on these? I’d imagine the wind would rip your head off.

Street Triple has 60bhp more than the MT07. It is more of a MT09 rival but is also more powerful than that bike.
I hope someday i could afford to buy my dream bike before we all go electric
Лысый. Это классный мот!
Faster then s1000r
Nice bike but it sounds like a sewing machine. Needs after market exhaust. My 660 sport puts it to shame 😂
