2) can the spray be used regularly every month as a preventive later, even after there are no more ticks and fleas? Safe for dogs? My dog has thousands of ticks and fleas, and spot on, then one dose of spray has had hardly any effect 😔

You shouldn't apply spot on at such a young age. Atleast wait for 2 more months.
