Not a big restomod guy but Alex’s Challenger stole the show! What an awesome vehicle! And he kept the modding pure considering he through a hemi in the engine bay, nice work!

I hadn't read the comments yet til now, but I made a suggestion/ request for Dennis to do that same very thing in honor of all his dedication and sacrifice to his work for all the car community and beyond.
For Dennis to unknowingly buy it back and surprise Alex with it later on in the Year, wouldn't that be a total bonus for a great person.

I can't believe you're selling your challenger after working on it for 5 years, and only putting 2 67 miles on it. That tells me that Dennis is not paying you enough. Maybe at the auction, Dennis WILL BUY IT and give it back to you because you probably do deserve it.
In 1971 at the tender age of 16, I purchased a 1968 Z-28 in that same exterior color but with black interior from a close (and older) friend who had bought it new. He got a girl pregnant and needed to sell to get money for his soon to be wedding. The car had 1,500 miles on the odo. What a great car that created many great memories.
Cant wait for Alex to make his dreams come true..wicked intelligent young man.with skills beyond belief..what kind of cars will he go after..

Wouldn't be a Friday without the latest Coffee Walk episode. Alex knocked it out of the park with his 1970 Challenger Resto Mod. Dennis thank you for sharing all the amazing cars. Normally I have a favorite but whoa couldn't make a choice this week. I get the bittersweet part of selling the Ferrari 488 Challenge Car.
You guys probably do not get notified when somebody makes a comment on some of these older videos, but in case you do, somebody, please let Alex know… you did such an amazing job on this car a pure labor of love and passion for these cars. I know that had to be hard to auction off. I don’t know if I could’ve done it. Incredible job, Alex you are my hero. I hope you know and appreciate what you do in your position, because there’s so many people that dream of such opportunities and abilities, such as what you have simply incredible

Dennis Collins was well raised bred and well educated. His tendency to think of others first is a tell of sorts as D.C. is a giver. It’s a shame that not all that are close picked that up. Great show !
I use to ride with my Uncle in his 190SL had a red interior. Always ran fine. Not a race car but handled very nice. Ride is excellent. Beautiful car .

Could really feel the pain of Dennis with the Ferarri
The 68 Z28 is one of my favorites but Alex's 70 charger is one badass ride. These are the cars we all dream of owning one day. Thanks for keeping these cars alive for all of our kids and grandkids to see. Hopefully they will appreciate it and keep them alive and well. Thank you Dennis and your team for doing an amazing job.

Investors and collectors will be feeling the recent price depreciation. If it’s just about the money it makes sense to sell before prices fall further. If you’re buying as an enthusiast the depreciation is irrelevant as the driving and owning experience remains the same and prices will recover at some point in the future.
Dennis, being the artist, you are all you’ve done is shared your beauty and then created more space on your canvas to do the same

Alex, I think you’re a very talented guy, you’re very good at what you do. Dennis is very lucky to have you. That being said, I’d have painted the springs and hinges black on the challenger though.

I am at such a loss for word and out of mind that has got to be one most incredible Ferrari I have ever seen and knowing being in possession of Dennis is something special and best of the best no doubt I cannot imagine Dennis in his position of actually loading such a work of art and sending it out knowing it going to be sold and never returning to stare at or joy ride to torment every eye that sees it and wishes to own themselves how can you let that go good lord!!

I grew up in Garland on the edge of Wylie and as a teen in the 90s me and my brother would go out to Collins Bros Jeeps and buy a few of the rusty crap 4 banger wranglers they had and build them back up after paying way more than they were worth (5 grand each) for their age in the mid 90s. To this day we still have those Jeeps and their value has not only maintained but increased exponentially. It was wicked seeing Dennis go from a family shop of Jeeps to being involved with Gas Monkey and realising he was a used car salesman in disguise as he was a true car guy.
Everytime I see him in it brings back stopping off in Wylie to grab some Outlaw's BBQ on 78 and headed tot heir shop to buy some part for something that had rusted off our wranglers 🤣
