I was there in Springfield. 10yrs old, I talked to Bob Chandler and Jim Kramer. When I seen Jim I could see he was in a rush, but he seen me staring at him bright eyed. He stopped what he was doing and talked to me for 5-10min. He was in a rush cause he had to drive back to Missouri to get something for the truck, still took the time to talk to me, and I remember 32 years later.
WOW, Old school monster truck racing. No fire suit, Just a motorcycle helmet white t-shirt blue jeans and tennis shoes, Just like Jimmy Johnson did in Nascar car racing
Great footage. Man could Jim drive those old trucks. Definitely paved the way. Bob being the class act that he is gave the first place prize to the second place truck. Bigfoot got the trophy and Skoal Bandit got the tires which were used on the Boss.
How interesting! I always wondered how they managed to not roast the C6 stuff with that weight. Figured it was just ridiculously geared down enough. Guess not
#6 pre-body trim, must have been pretty new then. @bigfootoriginal, can you or anyone else confirm whether #6 had a longer wheelbase than trucks 1-4, and 7? Something about it makes it seem long.
SO I HAVE A YRS LONG QUESTION, OK, DECADES LONG, WHY IS BIGFOOT NOT IN THE MONSTER JAM GIGS? COULD YOU IMAGINE THE POP, IF THIS #5 SHOWED UP IN THE STADIUM OR IF THE MOST RECENT TRUCK DID SOME RACING AND FREESTYLE STUFF? I MEAN, LETS GET SERIOUS HERE.
Always thought the same thing at the jam shows. Bearfoot was cool being from northeast St. Louis but Bigfoot is the original off Mackenzie I believe it was
@@michaelws6247 Grave Digger for example had to sell all the rights to monster jam for merchandise, the name and so on. Even the trucks are owned by Feld motorsports...

This was when they had just put the triple carb 540 in #6. Man that motor had power
I took my wife to this event on our second date, she’s still a Bigfoot fan to this day.
Ah sweet! That's the hardest I've seen Bigfoot #5 run.
I was just in Pacific and Bigfoot is just as cool as I Remember as a kid. I can still stand in the wheels lol.
I remember seeing Bigfoot for the first time at the Pittsburgh Civic Arena in 1986. I was instantly hooked on the big bad Ford.
I was hooked on Ford since... I was born.
Those drivers took a pounding!!! Amazing how far suspension has come!
Gotta love the slow-motion replies!
TomsterMusic repliesnot replays-ooops
Massive tires and great sound

Joe Jaramillo dont forget head and arm out the window the whole time
I think you mean Junior Johnson.
ahhh the memories of seeing the monster trucks at the Pontiac Silverdome in the 1980's....
Wow! I never knew the shuttle wasn't always blue!

Mini Monster Truck likes this and tows his own train!

Bigfoot #6 might be the most underrated BF truck ever
The tire change contest was interesting, to say the least. Great footage
Old school trucks with production bodies are one thousand times cooler than today's plastic, tube-framed buggies.
CR250R40 the newer ones are just SAFER
Awesome video thanks
When Ford's really were built ford tough
Andy Brass Changing Some Tires!
4:40 look at the pounding the driver is taking in that truck!
Gotta love the fact that the Driver had to hang out the window to see. Since the truck was a solid made machine not a fiber glass dune buggy.
God I love this old school action
Un
Helmet or not I can't believe Jim Kramer didn't get concussions
Bigfoot in Action cover shot at 6:26!
Is it just me or can you hear the music from Bigfoot in Action playing watching the shuttle run?
Cammie Camaro I can

Bigfoot 5 aka the transmission killer
D Bb what do you mean by that
he means that Bigfoot 5 had a trans rebuilt or replaced almost every show it actually performed
How interesting! I always wondered how they managed to not roast the C6 stuff with that weight. Figured it was just ridiculously geared down enough. Guess not
@@chaseman113 they used a mega sized gear reduction I think it was like 132:1

Big foot should come to the cars of summer at green hill park in woster
If anybody ever wonders where the Bigfoot name came from, just watch Chandler drive Bigfoot Shuttle!
before he drove shuttle
I notice the tires are all tread there, why did they start shaving off the outer tread ??
12342321 they were more concerned with suspension improvement at this time, tire shaving wouldn’t really become the norm for another few years.

They do not hire us to appear in their events. You can see us at numerous other events though. Go to: bigfoot4x4.com/events/index.html
