Maybe a northern thing although by the time we had a dishwasher we were in the south. But in either air drying or heat drying dishes in the dishwasher. Gotta be used in some way🤷🏾♀️

The combo of Bar Keeper's Friend and a scrub mommy is the best combo I've come across to scrub burnt on gunk, scratch free from my stove with not that much effort.
YES on the cleaning the dishes by hand! I’m the same way, no matter how advanced tech those dishwasher may be, they can’t CLEAN CLEAN and catch all the grime that you otherwise would inspect as you’re washing by hand. It may take longer, yes, but I’m at ease knowing it’s properly cleaned.

Kim, you are a rockstar!!! Thank you for the tip on the bathroom drawer idea. I have the same issue. Keeping toiletries and hair products neat and tidy. Plus, you wont' have to worry about staining the inside of the drawer. I don't mind having to clean up the containers every now and then.
