We were suppose to close our house yesterday. Someone cancelled our mortgage application because of mistaken identity. We are now homeless, with a full 26 feet truck full of our stop, incurring costs for hotels and etc. Also, it’s the damn long weekend. We won’t know until four days from now. Hooray!
1) Have breakfast 2) Put on some clothes 3) Brush your teeth (a deal breaker). 4) Look up the address before leaving the house or make sure you have a GPS device. 5) Make sure you paid your phone bill and that it has data. 6) Shall I continue? I lost 5 minutes (now 8 after typing my comment)
So is it possible to know the exact amount I'll be paying with everything factored before I sit at the closing table? I would assume to find the right numbers and have those negotiated already and in place before signing off???
Can an Auto Accident Law suit affect the Mortgage Application at closing ? Very small accident but the law suit is for personal injury after 1.11 years after accident . And the Insurance coverage is just state minimum , Currently my company Insurance lawyer is handling the case
What if the buyer takes out money that is set aside for closing and than couple days later he deposited back but the bank notices it can it be ok still or is more of a chance the application falls through?

Step 1. Have your mom gift you $15k which is the amount of the annual exclusion. Step 2. Have your mom write you a mortgage and pay her interest (fair market). Although this isn’t a 0 cost way. Will be far less costly than gift $100k which $85k will be taxable (your mother would pay not you) Hope this helps!

Yep! The final numbers have to be provided to you within at least 3 days notice before sitting down at the closing table
