That 2nd subtitle threw me off. I couldve sworn this was gonna be a military-type propaganda film about doing calisthenics.
Nope.
GONORRHEA.
0:42 I didn't expect a movie about Gonorrhea to open with belching smokestacks. Am I in the right theater?

Yezzzz
I thought this would be a topical video about the spread of epidemics like polio and the importance of hand washing, but no, it’s about gonorrhea.
If you get gonorrhea in this day and age you 100% deserve it and asked for it. Unless you’re a baby and got it from your mother.
Sure, even if you got it from your cheating spouse who you thought was loyal? Or even worse, from being raped? Don't be so narrow-minded.
You would know
Venereal disease is much more rampant now than 1942 in the United States so what are you talking about
Your mistaken judgement is why epidemics continue. When you judge, people become afraid to talk about the disease, hide it and perhaps avoid a diagnosis. Until we remove stigma and openly discuss STDs like any other infection, we have a problem. That point was made by the Dr at the end of the video. It was true then and it's true now. Men tend to have no obvious symptoms or mild symptoms so a female sex partner will have no idea she is exposed unless the male informs her. In many parts of the world men refuse to use condoms and women have been beaten and even killed for asking a man to use protection. And you believe "she asked for it." That's a huge error in thinking.
I'm speaking as a microbiologist that committed decades to the study of infectious diseases and teaching. I lived through the AIDS epidemic and in the early years there was a huge amount of judgement and hatred for people with the disease. That went along with ignorance and misinformation. People were kicked out of school, homes and workplaces. They often died lonely deaths before attitudes changed and treatment came available.
