✨TIP FOR RAW CHICKEN✨ I use a specific cutting board for ONLY raw chicken as a family member was hospitalized for having very slight amounts of cross contamination between the cutting raw chicken and vegetables (the cutting board was rinsed but not cleaned properly). Very thankful my family member is still with us today as the raw chicken caused a terrible Campylobactor infection with intense external bleeding across the entire abdomen. Life threatening serious stuff. Basically once you’re working with raw chicken ONLY work with the raw chicken until you are done and wash all utensils associated with the raw chicken (cutting board, EVEN THE HANDLE OF THE KNIFE, and hands 🙌 ). That being said as long as you are safe and take proper precautions you’re gucci!
Yep , had that once and the doctor said " well it's a really long treatment " and I was like I don't give 2 fuchs bc I was literally in so much pain. It took 3 types of meds & 90 days to heal my stomach. Thx for the PSA, bc it's impt !
I'm sorry for your family member but just know this is a rare reaction, statistically most people who eat raw chicken and get salmonella just feel sick for a few days and don't need medical attention. Don't forget to mention that because an alarmist message like this would just freak people out without giving accurate context

She listened to the raw chicken advice! That makes me so happy that you're being more cautious :)
She’d be wise to just ask her butcher to cut up the chicken for her.
Her with the cornstarch,
"I guess you can't really go wrong with the corn starch"
Me: o O o
"Girlllll yesss you can!"
Bless her, shes trying.
I was like nooooooooo!!!!!!! Lol!
I’m like ohhh no. Clumpy sauce is the worse. It should be a light glaze on those noodles.
It made me remember a thanksgiving where I was at a friends and they kept adding more corn starch to the gravy trying to get it to thicken. I finally broke my silence and told them starch needs to come to a boil to properly thicken. They put at least a cup in so Trish isn’t doing too bad!
Should have only used 1 tablespoon
That’s the part of recipe
Ever since that one guy said “you say _mmmhhhpp_ after everything,” that’s literally all I can focus on when Trish talks 😭💀
TRISH I am yelling at my screen TASTE it when you’re making the sauce lol
who’s going to tell trisha they need to cut with a sawing motion instead of just pure force 🙃
I wish Trisha would get someone to come on and show her the basics
The way she was using the knife stressed me! Investing in a good set of knifes and using them with the proper technique is everything!
@@Bloop-tu6fx Maybe it’s best she doesn’t invest in some good knives because then we might have our sweet Trisha with a few less fingers.
@Ashley England I was actually thinking the same thing. I was never taught to cut vegetables or chicken. I’m pretty sure an 8 year old could do better than she did. BUT I guess that’s part of her charm and why she’s fun to watch. 😂
@@loveshell6945 sharper knives = less injuries because you use less force to cut and don’t have those jarring “slips” where the knife is out of control due to the force you’re using. That was the first thing they taught in culinary school and boy howdy they were right
I'm screaming "stop stop" as she measures out the sauce stuff 🤣🤣
Omg yes the corn starch!! Haha
Trish adding more and more ingredients cause she can't get the balance right is ME
Waaaaay too much sesame oil! I’ve ruined dishes like this too many times.
@@lexz3257 omg same i was like nooo trish
You are such a joy to watch in the kitchen and I so appreciate your “relate ability”🥰
I love hearing her laugh and be happy 😭😭💕💕💕💕
« Am i using the right side of the knife » I AM CRYING 😭
That one got me too 🤣
She's not dumb... i see her hangup... which side of the blade cuts ( arent there ridges?) Apparently not
✨TIP FOR RAW CHICKEN✨ I use a specific cutting board for ONLY raw chicken as a family member was hospitalized for having very slight amounts of cross contamination between the cutting raw chicken and vegetables (the cutting board was rinsed but not cleaned properly).
@@zadizadi6953 It's like wearing a seatbelt. 99% of the time you dont wear a seatbelt you'll be fine, but you don't want to risk the 1%.
@@sashal9424 definitely, but this comment could make it sound like that situation is 99% and not 1%

He is so sweet. I think he just loves and appreciates you trying and making dinners and loves you
"Am I using the right side of the knife" QUEEN
"I'm not sure if it's proper way of cutting onions"
well no it's not but you just do what you do and watch your fingers
I say very unique. Very unique indeed. No hate i stan trisha
@@ryanallen2647 yeah. there's no right way of doing stuff i guess.👀
“Am I using the right side of the knife, I think I am” 😂😂😂
😩
I love watching you learn! Keep cooking and you'll figure out how you like things and what works best. I'm a totally self taught cook myself and I now rarely follow a recipe.
Moses is so happy Trish is learning to cook at home he's happy they are going to be healthier and save money from postmates 😂😂❤️
the way trisha confidently chopped those vegetables and not washing them is what does it for me
U dont need to wash vegetables if ur going to cook them
@@taylord9379 pesticides don’t die off with heat like bacteria, you should always wash produce sis
@@usernameisntavailableitried I personally don't wash my veggies before cooking and i'm fine.
@@chrissyfig3521 You will be fine yes, but in the long run all those chemicals are not healthy. And washing your produce is especially important if you live in the united states where the pesticides are way harsher and more dangerous. Its completely your choice but I wouldn’t go around telling people its fine to not wash produce.
@@usernameisntavailableitried yea they do get reduced greatly by cooking them, its a minuscule amount left basically the same as washing it
this is THE BEST birthday present i could ever ask for thanks trisha love u

It's my birthday too! Happy birthday to us!! ^_^
I love this so much. I literally wait until dinner to watch these so I can cook with her
How are you supposed to squeeze a lime ARE U KDDING ME!!! BRO I WHEEZED
Doesn't it feel good to be able to call out your own shitty behavior in the past and know you're in recovery now & working on yourself? I feel that way at least for myself. You should be proud of yourself
we can all learn so much from trish everday 🥺❤

Trish, a quick tip - when you're cutting vegetables, don't cut them at the edge of the tabletop and make sure you clear your surroundings. It's all about giving yourself space to move your arm and then push them aside without feeling anxious about cutting yourself or dropping it. Also, get Moses to sharpen all your knives please lol
These are for sure my favorite Trisha videos!!! I love to watch her cook. Also she makes it look easy. ❤️ keep it coming Trisha!
i love moses he's so supportive and loving towards trish, he informs her on things and calls her out when she's wrong and i love that.
Honestly, I wish Trish would just make a cooking channel because I live for these
This IS her cooking channel!
“No lime juice detected.. okay” lmfaooo I love trish
SHE IS SO NATURALLY FUNNY
You're doing a great job learning how to cook, girl!!! I legit almost set our kitchen on fire Christmas morning trying to make us sausage 😂
