I’m just starting out and getting loft ideas. Your lofts are perfect. Great job, clean, healthy and beautiful. I learned a lot, thank you. No such thing as a long or boring video from your loft.
Beautiful setup! Do you think you can use the same cement form plywood for nest boxes and box perches. I prefer box perches in my loft. I had an issue this year for about a week with the birds being sick, droppings were off. Half a dozen of my box perches the plywood is bubbling up. It annoys me and I might look at rebuilding them. I wonder if the resin coated plywood would work. I was also thinking of just sanding them down and using a thin layer of self leveling underlayment with my existing boxes. Thanks for the video. I love loft tours!
Thanks! And yes you certainly can they would be much easier to scrape i would have made mine out of it as well but my supply of material wasn’t enough to do all the boxes, another alternative would be cutting uppieces of maceonice board an putting it over the plywood inside the boxes
@ with this setup I’ve never had a problem I prefer as much air as possible even during the coldest temps the birds are fine, as long as there is no constant wind blowing directly on them they are fine
Thanks, those were on the roof of a building that was being demolished many years ago they were like guard fences to keep people from falling off the roof I managed to cut them off an finally found a use for them, I’ve never seen them anywhere else since then they are fully aluminum
I ended up losing all 4 birds i sent to peach classic they had a rough season down there i have a couple still down at cuevas in texas that have been pretty consistent in the training an i still have 4 at florida pigeon derby so we’ll see how it goes, next season i plan on sending alot more birds an a few other races
In your water boxes change dowls to steel with exact dim of club shipping crates, and presto your teaching your birds to drink thru bars every day, when they are shipped there is no learning curve

What's up Robert! How's the breeding going?
Very nice loft
Love your water box… great 👍
I really love You Loft. ❤
Nice watching from fl.
Do you cover the sky lights during hot summer days ?
Nope i have tall trees around the outside perimeter of the loft so the direct sun never really gets it to hot in the summer time
Pretty cool lofts
Nice loft design
Awesome ❤
Well done ❤❤
Why vent the front and rear? Wouldnt the air flow from front to rear rather then rise to the top and exit out the rear top
@@trafficman8641 always better to have more ventilation then less
@@EBloft you don't think it creates a draft. The back wall should be solid. The best lofts in general are all closed off at the back.

Dust everywhere 😢
My lofts are probably the least dusty compared to most, my walls and all interior surfaces are sponged down 1-2 times weekly
