I work at Sainsbury’s and have four night shifts a week. And I realized today that I listened to Luke’s podcasts for 30 hours last week during my boring work. Each time I understand more and more. It’s an amazing discovery for me. I am proud of myself and thank you so much for your work. I have been learning English for a year and sometimes I lose motivation, but every time you inspire me. I am from Ukraine and we are having a very difficult time now. But you make me smile and always remind me to keep going. My big dream is to get a degree in the UK and when I graduate I will definitely mention your name))
Your comment made me feel motivated. It is happy to see our English progress, right? As Luke said, just keep going. Our English couldn't be improved just because we give up. But I know you stay strong and keep practicing English. Wish peace in your country soon and you will achieve your goals in English and study abroad. Wish all English learners all the best 💜
I am from Panama, I stared listening to Luke's Podcast because I was in a deep depression after I got used, manipulated and rejected by a man whom I thought was the love of my life. For a very long time, I used to learn English through reading. Then I got a smartphone and listened to a great variety of topics. I had the chance to meet an English lady wishing to learn my own language, so we are chatting on the phone half English, half French and we only correct our mistakes in the end not to hinder the flow. It gave me such confidence that now I'm learning Italian and German. It was a long journey but every path had its reward. I wish all the best to you, your loved ones and everybody out there🎉
Thanks Luke I'm not a skeleton. This podcast has rejuvenated me. I now have a positive attitude in learning English. I'm listening from South Africa. Keep up the good work. I am really grateful.
I'm 14 and I have been learning English about 5 months, your podcasts help me in my English development! Thank you for your incredible podcasts, they're so funny)

Hello from Ukraine. I`d like to say thank you for your work. You a really do a lot for our education. I met you accidently in tanden app and was surprised with your voice, prononciation and conversation skill. always listen to you with a pleasure. You are great teacher and very interesting speaker. thank you again.
Hi, Luke! i'm from Russia. I'm extremely grateful for your podcasts! i suppose that improving my listening skills is my biggest achievement in last year and this all happened because of you and your great job that you've done! i feel like you are one of the best friends of mine!! i'm so glad that last year i found this lovely, cozy place with such a kind teacher! best wishes to you and your family!!
Hi Luke, thank you for opening up so deeply and sharing your fears, anxiety, and lack of confidence. It’s incredible because it mirrors exactly what your students feel. In your case, it might be even harder because you’ve excelled in English, and accepting any decline in communication skills can be tough. However, experiencing your students’ difficulties firsthand can enhance your ability to teach us. Thank you so much.
I’m from Spain. I’ve study English since 2019 at Official Language School in my town to get b2 English certificate. In this course, I have a great English teacher because his pedagogical methods encourage us to improve our different skills; however, he is very demanding too. He puts a lot of effort into grammar and pronunciation. I recognise that it’s important to adopt positive mental attitudes, because studying English is a large journey, although it’s sometimes difficult. In spite of this, I’ve done some significant progress since I’ve started to study English, especially in my listening skills. When I started listening to podcast during the COVID Pandemic, it was difficult to understand the contents of episodes. Nowadays I can listen to them more easily than in the past. I know that one of my biggest difficulties is my speaking, but I understand that I need to improve my grammar, and my reading and writing skills. For this reason, I've to start new habits. Firstly, I usually listen several podcast just like you. My proposal is to write feed-back once a week. Secondly, to improve my speaking, my classmates and I are going to start an English meetup. I’ve also started to talk myself out loud. On the other side, my English teacher has recommended us to listen BBC's 6 Minute English. And after listening, I want to repeat out loud too Finally, to improve my reading skills I’m going to try to read English book 10 minutes a day. I really enjoy when you telling us stories of your daily routine, for instance I loved the episode on another podcast called “Into the story” when you told your experience about your “mission in Paris”. Thank you very much for your effort and work Best wishes from Spain.
How funny ! Thanks for sharing your great sense of humour ! (English humour for sure ;-) !! An innovative idea to combine English learning with have fun ! Love it !
I'd been teaching my students English since I graduated from senior high school up to now in my fifties.. As Indonesian I had learned English through books and lessons in classes.. I never had chance to study in UK, Aussie or US as English native countries.. Sometimes I felt I lacked many things about this language. But, time goes by and I came across this extra ordinary podcast that I thought benefited me so much. Thanks Luke, you are great.
Hi Luke, happy new year for you and your family. I am Alessandra from Brazil. I am a ninja and didn’t become a skeleton after listening this podcast, which was amazing. On the contrary, it motivated me to write to you for the first time since I’ve started to listen to you in 2018 or 2019. After discovering you I listened to many of the old episodes, but, unfortunately, I haven’t listened all of them, yet. Nowadays, I am following you on the RUclips, although, I usually just listen and not watch. This one was an exception. I really enjoy hearing your stories even the rambling episodes, which seems to connect more you and your audience. I loved the episode about the birth of your son and many others, such as that about the new Beatles’ song. Your tips are great and this year I want to use, at least, some of them. I am trying to overcome the intermediate plateau and your efforts to learn French are a source of inspiration for me. Your pronunciation is great and I dare say that I can understand around 90% of what you say. I want to improve my write and pronunciation skills, so I need to practice more. Now, I am going to apply for the Celta course in my country, because I want to become an English teacher here. Many of your episodes about learning process with different guests inspired me and also the episodes that explain this kind of stuff. Anyway, thank you for this lovely podcast and for being a human being so cool. Sometimes, I felt as if you were a close and funny friend of mine. Once again, I wish you a great year full of health, peace, love and prosperity. By the way, the top of your son’s head is beautiful. 😊
Hi Luke!, it's lovely to see you with your baby boy, I melted!. I'm grateful for having found you because without knowing you have helped me during my plateau path. My positive experience is that I joined to a conversation club and I could speak in front of other spite of my fears, so thank you because you definetely are part of this. Another achivement is that I could finish the whole episode and I'm not a skeleton!
Dear Luke I have been listening to you for almost 5 years, your podcasts have helped me to improve my British accent. As an Iranian English learner having the right English accent wasn't an easy deal for me, however hard work pays eventually I really appreciate your hard work ♥️😍🙏🏻
Hi Luke! I'm Claudia and this is the first time I listen to one of your podcasts and I want to thank you for the time you dedicate to this. I'm Sicilian and thanks to podcasts like yours, online group lessons, and reading, I'm significantly improving my English. This morning, while searching on Spotify for something to listen to, I found your podcast and while listening to it, I discovered that it's also on RUclips! So I went to RUclips and subscribed. You are very clear in your presentation and I find your arguments and advice very interesting. From now on, you have a new listener!! Thanks Claudia :)
Hi Teacher Luke, I am not a skeleton, haha. You know, after listening to your podcast, it feels like my mind is a space and your words are moving, floating inside it. You are getting better and better at teaching English. You are a great son, husband, father, a great teacher, and a great human being. Thanks, and have a great year ahead! ✨️
Luke, I can listen to you for hours. I was looking for a teaching channel with a good English accent and couldn't find a better one. I am from Poland, my dream is to work as a construction engineer in an English-speaking country. You run it professionally, I haven't seen such a committed person with a passion for teaching for a long time, and your sense of humor keeps my spirits up, especially in these strange and unknown times. Thank you very much!❤
I'm Spanish and this year my aim is to improve my English knowledge by listening one of your podcasts a day. I had a hip surgery 6 weeks ago and the doctor told me to walk for at least one hour a day and while I'm walking I'm also improving my listening skills. I study half an hour as well (at the present time I'm studying a book focused on expressions and another one related to direct translations). I hope to make a breakthrough in my English and leave behind the plateau. I'm a ninja but I'll try to write more often😅 Thank you for your podcasts, Luke. I'm living an idylic relationship with your language again thanks to you😊
Hi Luke, I've been following you on you tube for about a year,.My name is Lula, I'm an English teacher from Rome, What I want to tell you is really, I think, very nice for you! You are a very good teacher, you know how to explain things in the best way, you linger because you try to explain things in the best way (I am like you), you can't synthesise because, I think, you believe there is always a better way to say things. I thank you especially because you put me in a good mood! You are nice, sensitive and funny at the same time and in the morning when I cycle to school in Rome I always listen to you because you put me in a good mood. I let myself be taken by everything you say and if I'm nervous, I take it all in! Thank you from the bottom of my heart! If I organise a long weekend in Paris I would love to come and see you perform. How often do you go on stage? You do yoga for me, I concentrate, enjoy myself and let go of my anxieties...
Hi Luke,I am a new listener of your PODCAST and hope to continue to listen. I totally understand what you are telling, but reality is can’t express them so comfortably in front of other people. I do practice reading out loud, listening.as you told I will keep it up.thank you 😊
I'm from Iran and have been working in Iraq for a while.I have limitation internet to connect RUclips but when I come to Iraq for work, I will come to you. I like your teaching. Unlimited thank you
Hi Luke, I've been listening to you since 2019 (through podcast), btw I really loved your old App. Yes😅, you did mention a couple of times that you had lived in Japan😄. I love your rambling episodes, particularly very long episodes! I also like small talk at the beginning of them and your lovely songs at the end of some of them. Thanks for your work! One of your ninja-LEPsters
I'm one of your episode lovers but especially this episode caught my heart😊 Your way of holding your smart baby reminded me of my old time. I worked hard with my baby. I can admit my effort now. Thank you for providing the natural way of a human being.
Lukeeeeee, I am in love with you. I really enjoy listening to your podcasts and I am learning a lot. Thank you so much for your work and your personality. Sincerely, I get listening to your full episodes podcasts. Thank you thank you thank you. Hugs from a spanish woman.
Hello Mr. Teacher, I’m discovered you same as Linda two months ago. And you are absolutely understood with everything what you talk about. Greetings from Poland 🇵🇱. You are great through your way to learning as great is English language 🇬🇧. Happy New Year 2024.
Thanks for your suggestions🙏Definitely my priority for 2024 and for the rest of my life🤞is to improve my mediocre😅 speaking. I'll try to find the courage and the time to take part in one to one online conversations. I've recently come across a promising and free site, so hands on...
Luke, Happy New Year to you and your family! (Better late than never 😅) 28:14 You are great! I'm from Kursk, from Russia. I accidentally came across your fantastic podcasts not long ago a now I' your greatful listener. I used to be a teacher of English, but now I'm in retirement, as I'm 73. But I love English so much!!! I listen to your podcasts on You Tube whenever I have time. Thanks a lot for your amazing work! You are the best teacher I've ever met ❤❤❤
Hi Luke, I'm pleased to listen to you, I've been following you since 2022 and around an amount of 70 episodes. Sorry to say I'm not only listen to your podcast but I try different types of ressources materials . I like your podcast and in general I listen to your podcast during my walk sessions. Hopefully for me I understand you quite easily and I couldn't go to the Zenith last week-end to see you on stage but I'll catch you later maybe. Thanks for all of that and I'm going to continue to listen to you in 2024 (because I'm not a skeleton ), speak as much as I can and put everything in english in my life.
Hi there. Luke I love the way you express and explain what you think. I totally agree with all tips for learning English. I started listening to the podcast on a daily basis and my English has improved significantly. Thank you!
I really appreciate your podcast, you generosity and the fact that you don't ask the listeners email. I don't know if you realise how many English learners you help with your work. I've improved a lot my listening skills just letting the videos roll as I work on my computer. Thank you very much, Luke.
Hello Luke! I'm Tani. First of all, I'm not a skeleton at all. I wholeheartedly appreciate you for this podcast. It's an incredible combination of utility and fun. And your sense of humor is a tresure. My listening skills weren't good at all when I'd started listening to your podcast. Mostly because I didn't like other shows for learners of Englis and shows for native speakers were too complicated for me. And after listening to hundreds of episodes I've finally moved to the next level. By the way, this improvement happened without any pain but with joy and pleasure. My next target is to build up my writing skills. So be ready for my comments after your videos on RUclips. Thanks a lot, and best wishes to you and your family in 2024!
Hello ,Luke Isabell from Korea. First time in New Year so I would say Happy New Year!! Last November I got to know your podcast video n so happy with the contents you dealt with. I perfer British accent to the English accent that I used to learn in school days. Long ago I've been in London for a while n had hard trouble listening to British accents but I noticed it was much attractive . Anyway like me for a non native speaker of English ,learning other languages especially spoken with various accents is like copycat . So I am trying to get used to your English pronunciation(RP) by listening to it whenever I have time. Thank you again.
Hello Luke, I'm in my early fiftees and I'v been learning English for two years consistently. I tried to act like a child and have just passed an Cambridge B1 exam. Now I'm looking strongly forward to the B2 course at a german school called 'Volkshochschule'. However when it comes to speaking especially as an introvert person I have to Deal with some difficulties. For this reason, your high amount of work is quite helpful for me. A letter full of thanks from Germany and all the best for you. Markus
Dear Luke, I returne to your podcast as one returnes to an old friend or to an old, safe and stable place to be. It started to be a habit and I do not mind new episodes every single day.😊 I wish you all the best for this year, a lot of adventure to tell, a lot of fun and joy.
I’m definitely not a skeleton Luke 😄I love your podcasts, they’re informative and entertaining too. It's a great idea providing transcripts, which can be extremely helpful for us. I appreciate your work and I am very grateful. 🤗Greetings from Hungary 🖐
Hello! I'm Brazilian and I've been practicing shadowing with your channel because I like your intelligence and accent. I wanted to say that in three months, I already understand a lot, and I no longer watch anything in Portuguese. I've even chatted with native English speakers and others from different countries, despite my limited vocabulary. Thank you! When I'm more advanced, I'll come back to express my appreciation for your spontaneity and the cultural enrichment you provide freely.
Hello everybody here especially Luke, I hope you are doing well, I am Diego from Colombia I have been watching your videos for almost one year, even I've downloaded some of them on my cellphone to listen to them several times they have really helped me a lot with my English process finally I just want to say thank you so much, and I hope to continue learning many new things from them, since all your podcast are really useful in a big amount of aspects.
Good evening! Thank you so much for the great company you keep. Your are the best and most entertaining teacher on RUclips. Greetings to you and your family! Trivia.....in the 90s lots of Italian kids dressed the way you did in England. Yes the dreadful flared trousers 🙂Giorgio
Hi, I am French and I am currently learning English. This led me to come across your videos, and they are great for improving our understanding. Thank you for what you do.
Happy New Year, Luke! I’m a ninja who listens to your podcast from korea. This podcast is really helpful in improving my English skills! My favorite episode is LEP.540. I listen to this episode when I feel down and anxiety. It makes me nostalgic and helps me relax. Thank you always!
I'm a Ninja looking for another Ninjas! 😂. It's amazing listening the Luke's podcast and improve our listening (Thank you very much Luke, please don't stop) but my resolution for this year is improve my speaking as well. Anybody has the same resolution? Maybe we can chat and have videocalls or something like that to keep improving our English. Please write me Ninjas ❤️
Fellow ninja here 🙋🏼♀️ I've been listening English a lot for a few months, understanding more and more, but have nobody to talk to 🙄 Would love to chat and practice speaking ☺
I'm not a Ninja, I like to comment😁 but I'd love to improve my speaking. It's my resolution for this coming year as well. Would be great to chat! By your name, I suppose you're Spanish. I also know intermediate Spanish😊
This kid will have two beautiful languages as his first languages - English and French. I wish I'd had the same languages :) The ground colour for the text is really much more comfortable for eyes with this lurid greed colour. Great video! Thank you, Luke!
Reading English fiction is an EXCELLENT way of learning English and IMPROVING your FLUENCY. LISTENING AND REPEATING is also good for not forgetting your English and acquiring fluency. Listening to podcasts in English without looking at the text improves your LISTENING skills, while revising vocabulary. TALKING with somebody like LUKE is using the English you really know. How LOVELY it would be!!!! WRITING in English is magical!!! I love English as much as I love my mother tongue.❤ Oh.. and learning how to do something else with a native speaker of English, as Luke's done with cooking with a French chef is an EXCELLENT idea. Luke, you're reminding me of reading the news in English.I do love listening to British and American songs and watching tv shows in English.❤❤❤
Oh it's amazing to hear you speaking french especially since i'm learning english from you so things turned around😂 and i felt like you're a normal human being cos for me you're a god in matters of english
Happy new year, Lucke. I would like to tell you how proud I am to have become a LEPster over the past year. I have learned a lot! And I have been able, little by little, to understand you without seeing the subtitles, which I am also very proud of. I really appreciate all your efforts for so many videos, podcasts, guests and fun! Thanks for being here again!!
Hey Luke, when you talked about the intermediate plateau and advised that always some skills are being develop, it reminds me the Chinese bamboo tree motivational story. Thanks a lot!!!
That would be great if you call me 😂 let's try Luke ❤ Thanks for funny talk l enjoy it a lot. I'm listening while washing up. Your accent is understandable and pleasure. Go ahead you are a great teacher. I'd like to be as professional as you are❤
Dear Luke am living in Canada and learnt English in UK but I like your accent, that’s why I listen to your program sometimes. Thank you if I am allowed.
Lovely baby! Really good to listening your English! Need to do it more to transform my English from pandemic time when I did use it as in the past. A lot work to do, Luke. Thank you for your podcast.
Hello Luke I have watched for 3 mounths nd u know your qualification is soo good enough to help who needs to improve English such as speaking listening accent.I listen when i was going to job or doing something stuff at home and I realized that my English started to improve with your podcasts.Thank u for your helping podcasts...
Happy new year Luke, I'm Miora and I'm from Madagascar. I really like the way you speak, it's very clear. I'd listen other podcast but no one was like your pronounciation. Thank you for your sharing, it's really helpful. May you live long Luke!!!
I believe confidence is the key. I barely know a few words in Spanish, but if I had to ask something like “Am I supposed to be sitting here?”, I would simply say “Me here, this ok?” (Estoy Aqui, Esto bien?) I’ve probably misspelled it in 5 places too. I have zero concerns about how it is not perfect, because I naturally assume that people are kind and would understand that I’m a foreigner.
Happy New Year! Automatic subtitles are processing and should be available very soon. You don't really need them though, because a PDF transcript is available here 👉 teacherluke.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/863.-Your-English-in-2024-with-LEP-PDF-Transcript-compressed.pdf

And after listening, I want to repeat out loud too
Finally, to improve my reading skills I’m going to try to read English book 10 minutes a day.
I really enjoy when you telling us stories of your daily routine, for instance I loved the episode on another podcast called “Into the story” when you told your experience about your “mission in Paris”.
Thank you very much for your effort and work
Best wishes from Spain.
Luke, I love your podcast madly ! I wish your ( big) family all the Best in 2024! Thank you!
Luke,. I'm grateful for your videos and podcasts. Those are my company in my way work and during workout. I'm improving my English. Thanks ❤
It is 10:16 am in my country, at the moment I am listening to Luke’s podcast to improve my english 👍🏻.
Happy New Year, Luke! I wish you 1 million subscribers! Thank you for your work!
Thank you!
Thank you very much for your effort. I don't get tired of listening to you.
❤❤❤glad to see you, dear teacher !!!
Hey Anna, may I get your email id?
Hello!
Dear Luke
I have been listening to you for almost 5 years, your podcasts have helped me to improve my British accent.
As an Iranian English learner having the right English accent wasn't an easy deal for me, however hard work pays eventually
I really appreciate your hard work ♥️😍🙏🏻
Thank A lot Dear Dorsa.❤ Im iranian love you so much
Hello Luke, I'm not a skeleton, I'm from Spain and I usually see your videos while I'm cooking. I love them! You are the perfect teacher!
I'm living an idylic relationship with your language again thanks to you😊
The first podcast I listened from begining to the end! It was such a long time, so it's great achievement for me. Thank you Luke, and happy new year!
Although talking to myself looks weird, I have to say it’s a good way to build up my confidence to use English. Thank you Luke!
I let myself be taken by everything you say
and if I'm nervous, I take it all in!
I do practice reading out loud, listening.as you told I will keep it up.thank you 😊
You are a wonderful teacher,i listen with attention to you
You are the best teacher ever. I love your videos and learn too much from them. 💐
Look is more than a teacher ❤
Big thumbs up
I'm here to learn British English, thank you so much Luck!
I'm one of your episode lovers but especially this episode caught my heart😊 Your way of holding your smart baby reminded me of my old time. I worked hard with my baby. I can admit my effort now. Thank you for providing the natural way of a human being.

Hello ,Luke
Isabell from Korea.
Markus

This kid will have two beautiful languages as his first languages - English and French. I wish I'd had the same languages :)
The ground colour for the text is really much more comfortable for eyes with this lurid greed colour.
Great video! Thank you, Luke!
I'm from Italy and I'm a new listener. I enjoy your podcasts a lot 😊
Hello, Luke! I am sure, that with you,I Will improve my English. Happy New Year 2024!Greetings from Perú!
I'm from sri lanka ,joined reacently ,much more helpfull to improve my english
Oh it's amazing to hear you speaking french especially since i'm learning english from you so things turned around😂 and i felt like you're a normal human being cos for me you're a god in matters of english
Happy new year, Lucke. I would like to tell you how proud I am to have become a LEPster over the past year. I have learned a lot! And I have been able, little by little, to understand you without seeing the subtitles, which I am also very proud of. I really appreciate all your efforts for so many videos, podcasts, guests and fun! Thanks for being here again!!
and many many thanks for making me feel so special, it's been great! 🤗
Hey Luke, when you talked about the intermediate plateau and advised that always some skills are being develop, it reminds me the Chinese bamboo tree motivational story. Thanks a lot!!!
Exactly! That would be a good story for the podcast 👍

You are amazing person! Thank you so much for the episodes. I usually understand your lessons, Luke. It’s great
Hi Luke, Happy New Year 2024. 🎉 Thank you so much I do enjoy your Podcast!✨
I am new who joined you last year in December- I discovered you very first time.
Luke , I absolutely love your English podcast, thank you. Happy New Year to everyone ✨💫🎉
