You are right, and these new iPhone models don't have significant changes for an upgrade. So what it takes 3 extra seconds to load? 3 seconds don't make a difference in my life. And the upcoming iPhone 8 is also a fiasco for $1,000 the only significant changes are physical. I've been so disappointed with Apple.
To the people saying that the iPhone 6 is the same as the 7, its really not. The camera on the 7 is so much better and the display is spectacular. The look of it overall is prettier. And the speed goes so much faster. There are little changes like the headphone jack and the force touch, but that doesn't make much of a difference.
I’m just a new user of iOS and my mother gave me this iPhone 6 and I’m currently using it right now. I can’t really download a lot of apps especially GarageBand because this phone is in version 12.5.4 but it’s fine overall :)
What some of you obviously don't understand about the iPhone 7 is it maybe have no headphone jack, but it comes with an adapter and earpods in the box. You can still listen to your music like usual. It's nothing to stress about. My brother has the iPhone 7 and listens to music all the time.

TheMov4ik please stay on iOS 8. No point of updating. My iPod 5 when updated to iOS 9 from iOS 8 made it slow as fuck. Apples slowes down all their old flagship phones with iOS updates. I know for a fact the iPhone 6 Peforms super fast on iOS 8.
Update. You will get tons of new features, and a whole lot more! Also, animations will be quicker. Update to iOS 10, it will make your iPhone 6 feel new again.

Downgraded to a 6 from a 7 cause of the jack thing and the difference is night and day. The 7 was very smooth and fast. The 6 stutters on day to day tasks. Should have went with 6s but the 6 was on sale.
