I'm not usually one for mini games, but this particular one is some of the most fun I've had in a game. I blitzed the storyline because I was so hooked. So glad they brought it back!
Btw did they bring back at the rest of the series? I haven’t play 456 and 7 so I’m not sure

@@mishima433 Yep. But keep in mind it's basically the prototype to the cabaret minigame we got in 0, refined even more in Kiwami 2. So glad the devs didn't abandon this minigame back when it sucked.

Man. Making money in kiwami 2 is hella easy. No money problems. Ended up with 150M after finishing the cabaret minigame
Whenever i saw kiryu and yuki.. i realized that both of them are more like parents to the hostess girl..

Kiwami 2 Grand Prix is the best overall theme though. Just a shame that it gets interrupted by the Fever Time music.

The fact that Kiryu uses the same animations as Majima did and yet look 10x cooler doing it
I love this style of music, no idea what it’s supposed to be called but it’s very catchy. All of the cabaret music, especially the main theme from Y0, to me, evokes the same energy as the Rouge the Bat stage music from Sonic Adventure 2. Might be more of a coincidence but glad to see SEGA keeping this music alive

I think, overall, I prefer 0's theme but this is killer too.
I just wish the fever themes were as good as the normal themes.
One of my most favorite minigame theme in Yakuza series. So when i summoned Yuki & Koyuki in Infinite Wealth and this song started playing, and they started doing the hostess hand signs, damn nostalgic memories were all over my mind at that part.

I'm glad i beated the cabaret club storyline in Yakuza 0, or else i would be like: "Dafuq?" o.e Glad to see it returned.^^ Still need to beat the Cabaret Storyline in Yakuza Kiwami 2.. xD
It is nice to see Cabaret come back. Of all the Yakuza Mini games, I didn't expect Cabaret to come back, glad it did come back and that the girls returned, it's nice to remember how kind Majima is to his girls. Although, I'm still sad to see no Table Tennis or Air Hockey mini game come back since those were my favourites

I heard this for the first time yesterday and it was THE BEST got me so hyped up and seeing Yuki made me delighted ಥ‿ಥ🎉 seems like ill be hearing this for a while, I spent a ton on Zeros carabet club minigame.
The biggest missed opportunity in this game next to the Kiryu clone sub story is the fact that Machiko (girl from Be My Baby) wasn't available as a hostess.

Just like Y0 Cabaret mini-game, I enjoy every moment for this walkthrough.....

But the story fall short, no more h2h combat against other cabaret owners like we did in Y0.
It became easier to win compare to the previous version ( mostly due to oil baron and more top grade girls)
It's an optional minigame, it's not like you need to play the minigame to unlock specific skill trees, as Y0. In kiwami 2, you can completely let it off if you dont like the minigame.
You cant replay training dialogue with your platinum hostesses once they are done, so dont screw the conversation up if wanna get perfect lesson. However i am glad they took away minigame with hostesses such as pools and dart. thats really pain in butt.( but i love karaoke and dance)
Btw It is still enjoyable, hopefully bring us the minigame in Kiwami 3.
Also show us more of Yuki story in the future game.
Derek Saw sadly i dont think we will see anymore yuki as kiwami 3 isnt happening as RGG studios chose not to remake 3 and the rest of the ps3 games which is a bit sad cause i loved seeing yuki again
Admittedly, it was a lot of fun to play Cabaret again but it did feel a little lacking. I don't know whether I'd want to see it back again but it's always nice to get more Yakuza Mini games
well some would say that it's an improvement as it doesn't force you to play it to make your character stronger, although for those who enjoyed the minigame it did lack a bit of 'oomph' that the Zero version had... was still fun to play though.
@@taloscal Good point, it was odd to lock both Kiryu and Majima's secret style to a mini game, when I was imagening it would come from a combat challenge or secret/story boss like Majima learning his mad dog style after Makoto gets taken and Kiryu learning DoD after his last battle with Kuze
