I feel that it’s ok to allow her give her testimony on stage at the RNC because the whole point was to show the world the ‘WHY & HOW’ she became a Trump supporter .. she was anti-Trump (believing all the propaganda) and then after doing her own research, she saw the truth about who he is and what he represents. I don’t think she has to be a Christian to be allowed to speak on the stage. We HOPE & PRAY for her conversion but things take time and she should be given time to evolve and grow. I recently heard her say she wasn’t doing the Slut-Walk anymore and that’s a positive thing. I’m praying ST Mary Magdalene intercedes on Ambers behalf and she has a radical conversion. That testimony will be amazing! It’s happened to many women throughout millennia and it still happens today. God is on the throne! Bless us all ❤

Apparently those who say Amber Rose is a Mary Magdalen have homework. We need to read about the life and struggles of the real saints. They were not just declared saints during their lives, they followed and lived Jesus Christ . How we need to study and live our faith. It is very evident who studys and lives as our Lord has taught.

Yes, pray for her absolutely, just as we pray for those who trespass against us. You say she is the face of the movement? Hardly. She was given 5 minutes of a week long convention to share where she is on her journey.She is an example of someone who is waking up, clearly not fully awake. Passing judgement, in my opinion, will only hamper her journey, if not derail it. Hate the sin, not the sinner. Would you yourself turn from your previous religion if the Catholic Church did not welcome you with open arms? The path to enlightenment does not happen overnight, the path is long and often dark, but at the end is salvation. At this point in her journey she should be nurtured, not berated. Honestly can’t believe I’m saying this now as a very conservative Catholic myself. Seems to me like we can be just as cold as anyone. You know a person by their actions, and her coming out to speak was very likely not easy, but it was a step in the right direction.

Mary Magdalene was looking for the Truth and to amend her ways. God will forgive any sinner, no matter the sin, as long as they accept how sin made them unhappy, repent and sin no more. Why can’t most people understand this. God is our Father, no father would affirm their child in their errors. I thought I should mention here Docter Taylor Marshall, that I led the rosary at my parish today Before mass and I offered the rosary for trump, my pastor came to me after mass and told me not to do that because it could come back on him and he could get in trouble.He told me to pray for both. It’s so interesting that the relic of St. Mary Magdalene was stolen from the Cathedral in Salt Lake City and this lady is being compared to St. Mary Magdalene.. all right before her feast day. The relic was stolen in time for me to start a novena before her feast day. Apparently she wants us to ask for her intercession right now!

Please this was a political event and she is at the beginning of changing her views. Let us not chase her away with our judgement and lack of humility. prudence. I hope we didn’t turn her off of Christianity at a point when she is politically converting away from the culture of death and open to becoming someone new (hopefully in Christ). Pray for her in charity and let’s not drag her sins up to everyone in ridicule to make a point. This was a political event and we hope by our humble witness to bring more people to Christ and to accept him as Christ the King. I fear Dr Taylor that this whole conversation was in poor taste.

I'm very glad to have found your channel. I was raised by my conservative Mexican Catholic grandmother and it saddens me to see how that Catholic Church has declined. I still cover my head before entering Church on Sunday morning. I attend San Carlos Cathedral in Monterey and I'm sure I get stares for doing so but I don't care because I still practice respect.

Where in the bible does it say Mary Magdalene was a prostitute? That label for her came about 200-300 years later by a Pope. People are in different stages of development toward faith in God, and for some it takes many years. We are actually doing the same with Candace who is a recent convert and speaking publicly as if she understands the intricacies of our faith. I did listen to her speech at the convention, and she was pretty good with her explanation, but I'll listen again in case I missed something she said.

I will say it again but you are one of the best voices out there and thank God for your podcasts. But during a discussion I had with you on twitter yesterday I was simply saying that we must be better Catholics by giving her a chance and not delving into non Catholics attacks as Walsh did who I also admire. I said in that twitter discussion that Mary or Christ would never condemn or push Magdalene away. Instead they welcomed her with open arms. Including the woman at the well. We as Catholics must be better than what was said by Walsh. Jesus said to the one caught in adultery to sin no more. Jesus embraces the sinner but not the sin. He set her on to a path of right action pleasing to God and a good example to society. In today's times this translates to the sinner exemplifying God's righteousness. An unrepentant sinner would not be a welcome speaker to a political platform that harmonizes with God's purposes.

In the Bible there is one Mary Magdalena. Mary was a very common name. But Mary from Magdala was a woman from the village of Magdala. This town sits at the south western shore of the sea of Galilee.
