i am late to discover this, but i just noticed it available in my local market via internet purchase. Thanks for posting this thorough review, Answered all my questions and especially on the heads up on the cost of a miter saw guard. I might try sourcing one in advance. great review and it is helping me decide to approach my wife about getting one. ;)
Saw the review - bought the saw. I ordered on line through Home Depot at $365. I don’t have to keep lifting my heavy mitre saw and move around to do a project and then find a place to move when done. Now with table just roll where I want to work in my home garage area. The manual does not include some finer points of setup that the video does. Great video.
Question about Lowe's. I was looking at their site for some plexiglass to mod my pc case side panel. Anyway, I noticed that they removed the aisle and bay number. It's already hard to find someone that will help you. Sometimes they don't even know where it is. Why did they remove it? TIA, talk to your friends at lowes, tell them to bring it back.
Question.....can you mount two different tools on opposite sides of the rotating surface? The only reason I see people using rotating work surfaces is when there is severe lack of space. They will mount the miter saw on one side and maybe a benchtop sander on the other......and rotate when needed. Otherwise the tool seems kind of pointless since additional benchtop space can be obtained much easier by using something like the Dewalt DWST11556 quick table rather than having this cube flip back and forth.
That would be a good addition to my tool room. I need a large portable work surface to move outside and a miter saw stand. This might kill two birds with one stone. Thanks for the recommendations guys!
I fell for this unfortunately and purchased one this weekend. Absolute garbage. After making a jig to set perfect spacing so table flips I move on the the wing tables. Wobbly, don’t level that well even after an hour of adjusting the machine screws and the plastic guide. Ended up having to place a 2x4 under each table to get it to stay level. If you care about square cuts this is not for you.
I just saw this show up a few days ago on my too common Amazon search for things to buy and to be honest, it seems a bit flimsy...but thank you for posting this video. I am still on the fence (no pun intended) about considering this...or just having fun and building somehting.
he hadnt adjusted the front feet properly yet. I am, too am on the fence. Building something this capable would take days and would not be cheap either. I think I'm going to go for it. What did you decide?
@@coppulor6500 Ha, this is like dominoes. And what did YOU decide? I had just researched this and it seemed okay, but wanted to see a video, so here I am. I thought the same as Shawn, looks a bit flimsy in operation - some side to side sway (need some angles/braces somewhere) and a bit too much play in the table top after it is "locked" in place. If you went for it, what's your take? thanks.
I reached out to Bora prior to purchasing to confirm if my Metabo HPT 12inch sliding compound Miter saw would fit. Biggest issue the saw is too big the handles that telescope annot be used as saw is in the way. I have reached out to Bora CS a number of times with no response. Unfortunately having to disassemble box and return. I'm disappointed. Also agree with most items on this video. We'll done. Quality is a little rough. For a smaller saw its probably great but tilting mechanism for larger saw along with blocking telescope handles takes away from the key features.

WOW! I was just about to buy this until I watched your video! Thank you! That thing is super wobbly! I would have been pissed.

Looks like a great alternative stand
Does it have stops or can you purchase stops for repeated cuts?

Interesting concept. Wondering how much it costs? Seen videos on making a table like this using wood.

Talked me out of it with the weld @ 1:30
Looks like it has a little wobble , understood this is not contractor grade, I really want one but I do have concerns about the stability
Great review John. I like the concept and the ability to flip the saw under and have a work space. #TIACREW

massive sawdust collecting tray just under the saw?

? We’re yeu getting
Needs a horizontal beam attached just above logo on front to tighten up whole unit...your saw would clear it...thoughts?
I think that would do it.
Third. Good video and have been trying to get a table for my shop.
System is too large for a truck or trailer hauling on a daily bases to job sites. Good for work shop.
Exactly correct. I don't think the stand could take the beating of being hauled around in a truck. Its definitely meant for the garage workshop.
not for me but good idea to flimsy for me at the price $99 maybe
Shop equipment and slides. Wow. What's up with Americans hating proper footwear?
Yay I be first for once
Anyway nice video.
Quit saying “like I said”
Second lol keep it going guys
FIRST
does that mean something?
