- In 2015 and 2016 Stipe Miocic was a top contender in the UFC's Heavyweight division. But Miocic felt he was overlooked by the organization for a title fight. And at UFC 195 after defeating Andrei Arlovski in the first round, Miocic let UFC President Dana White know how bad he wanted a title fight. Stipe screamed at White during an emotional celebration and continued to campaign for a title bout in his postfight speech. At the postfight press conference White agreed that Stipe earned a championship fight. Four months later at UFC 198 Miocic would defeat Fabricio Werdum to become the UFC Heavyweight champion. #stipemiocic #danawhite #shorts #ufc
