I'm planning on taking my lady to a Korean BBQ spot for her birthday since she's never been, and I've only experienced such a restaurant once years ago. So, this video was quite insightful. I'll definitely be watching it again until the big day.
When I watch your videos, I am always so envious that you get to eat such amazing food. Also, your humor is fantastic.
Dude, you are freakin hilarious! I expect to see you on TV in the not-too-distant future.
Sithean hey, thank you so very much. That means a lot! Keeps me grinding and hustling until then.
Wow. You make a great guide! You should make more content like this. Didn't even notice this was in Orlando. I'm driving there this weekend. Have to lookout for it now!
Thanks for these tips! Me and a few of my coworkers want to try some Korean BBQ but it isn't what we are used to. I'm going to send this to them before we go!
Thank you so much for this video!!!!
This is great, I just happened upon this, great info for Korean BBQ because I want to do this at home. I have a small Korean Grill so ready to cook.
Informative and entertaining. Thanks My wife and I do Korean bbq at home and love the experience.
Thanks for the video! We love Korean BBQ. My husband and I will have to visit this place when we go to Orlando!
Yes! There's also Gyu Kaku in the area, I think, but it's more expensive and I don't believe there's an AYCE option.
If you're going to visit Izziban, they also have a location on E Colonial Drive that has a few more options than this one did. This one was just more suitable for filming.
You're very funny! Most informative. I have to try some now
i've gone twice to a korean bbq
i think i still suck so imma need this vid for a tutorial
thanks tipsy dude
i'll save this on my tutorials playlist
This was EXTREMELY informstice
Edit: autocorrect has failed me
Informastice: (n). an agreement made by opposing sides in an information war to stop attempting to drop knowledge bombs on the other for a certain time; a truce.
this is totally legit don't look it up just believe me
Also, HI, YOU GUYS ARE AMAZING, I'M GOING TO GO DIE IN THE CORNER AND NEVER WASH THIS COMMENT SECTION AGAIN
wow that sounded weird
😂 I love this video, you got me cracking up on the floor with (some) of your jokes 😅😂
You made me hungry! That looks amazing! Now I’m gonna have to find one over here in the bay area! Looks like a lot of fun!
First time I've seen you. You are a friggin trip! We could be friends for sure. Great personality. Keep up the good work! Subscribed.
This was great!! I wish these places had some seafood!
Shabu shabu is a great way to get it and Izziban definitely has shabu shabu! Tons of different fish stuff in that section. We'll have to go one of these days.
Good stuff
Thanks for the video! I feel a little more confident about going out to eat Korean BBQ.. but those little yogurts aren't meant to be peeled open.. they should've come with a mini straw that you poke into the lid. 0.o
You use the onion to season the grill!! And where are the soju bombs?
NOW YOU TELL ME?! Haha I knew that too, but the way that I explained it in the video was a bit... mumbly and intoxicated? lol LISTEN TO THIS MAN, COMMENT SECTION.
and it was technically a soju bomb... But the glasses definitely weren't big enough. lol
I figured we could revisit this one day together...
Another Soju trick, mix a bottle of Soju, 1 bottle of Yakult, and some Lemon lime soda. Always a hit!
That was called a White Dog when I was stationed at Osan back in the early 90's. It was my go to drink when I was tired of beer.
Thanks for the insight, that was enjoyable to watch😂 and u def looked full😅
Thanks
Do I have to eat with a group? Because sometimes my friends don’t wanna go and I be craving it
Started to watch this video with high expectations. After watching it, Entertainment value 10/10, educational value 1/10 ( unless you’re teaching people how not to do it). 😂. Never seen anyone pour sauce over the brisket! 😟 or cook it with onions.
As a general rule the order of cooking is unmarinated -> marinated; thinner cuts -> thicker cuts; fattier cuts to leaner cuts. Take the time to enjoy the flavour of the meat first by first cooking unmarinated and eat using the lighter sauces. This allows your palette to appreciate the more delicate flavours. Save the heavier condiments and marinated meats till towards the end (same logic)! There’s no right or wrong. But I can definitely tell the amateurs from the pros, 🤣👏👍
Exactly! I felt the same way watching this video. Another thing to add was don’t put chicken, pork and beef all at once.
I’ve been to the izziban off E colonial a few times. Didn’t know there was one so close in metro west
Yeah man! It just opened up like what, six months ago? So it's still pretty new!
Tipsy Wok we should a few clowns together and hit it up
I need to try one of these places! I like the new style of video. Is this your first out of the kitchen?
Modern Maximalist Heh. Technically it's my second. We filmed an entire episode here... And the footage all mysteriously evaporated from my storage drive. Not in the recycling bin, or in recovery, moved elsewhere... NOTHING. So pissed. So this is all take 2! Lol
The upside is you got to eat out twice. Downside is expensive video. ;)
Modern Maximalist oh I go here once a week. LOL
I have yet to go to the Korean BBQ place near the Philly Art Museum, I *really* gotta stop slacking off and go there at some point. When hotpot episode?
I think I might do that one at home, I need to wait till I get to my new place to get one of those electric woks though!
"A grease frier gave birth to a bbq pit" LOL
Those faces had me dying 😂
I hit up Korean bbq all the time! You know I love those 5 words too! Good stuff’ Cheers brother!
Cooking With CJ thanks CJ!
Why do you have so few subscribers? You should have way-way more. great vid
Thank you so much! I really appreciate it.
Hahahaha ! Stumbled into your video by accident and boy , 🤣🤣😂you are really funny ! You should be a comedian 👍👍👍 .
By "kimchi sauce" do you mean gochujang, or is it something else? By the way you described it it sounds like gochujang.
That's a very good question. I believe it's their house-made kimchi-based sauce without the spice- I've cooked with gochujiang before and the consistency is completely different.
Great job TW. I can't say I have ever been to a Korean BBQ place but those aren't super prevalent here in Ohio, at least that I am aware of.
That's a shame! Really? I should do one where you could do it at home on an electric skillet, I wonder if it's possible
You might look into getting a blackstone griddle. I have a 17" and a 36" I think you could jump over to a whole other viewership base doing that. BTW I am gonna message Sauce Stache and tell him to send you a link to a fb group that might help you grow some more. Again, great job man.
How much does it cost? I’m looking at menus from my area and one doesn’t seem to be doing the table grill currently and the other one is $85 for 3 types of meats. Is this normal and how much meat would be given? I want to go to a Korean bbq place with my friends but I don’t know if $85 is worth it for 3 different types of meat without knowing if it will be enough for all of us.
Hey! This one currently is $25.99 in my area for AYCE, but it really depends on the quality of the meat. Try looking at some Google Reviews and see what they say!
@@TipsyWok thank you so much! I will look around :)
Is the meat usually beef or pork?
How much does the buffet cost? I need to try it, looked great!
It was $20 when I went, but it was right before the price increase so I think it's 21, 22 now?
Tipsy Wok That is cheap
Especially for AYCE!
Beer and meat, the perfect combo.
Well, I wish I'd watched this an hour ago.
Didn't make too much mess or a fool of myself 🤣
Man, that looks good! I wish I could get KBBQ in NYC.
Oh, wait a minute...
Cook, You Bastards! 😂 😂 😂
There used to be an excellent KBBQ down the street from Radio City Music Hall - unfortunately, a fire destroyed the place - and the only other one like it was in Seoul Korea!!! I misspell it: Woo Lee Oak.
How much did it cost? I haven’t had Korean barbecue since I was in Korea, so it’s time to fix that.
Eric Sweetman SWEETMAN! it was $20 when I went, but i believe they've raised their prices since then to maybe $21 or $22. In return you get AYCE kbbq, appetizers, and sushi. The location on E Colonial has a few more options. There's also a $30something premium option where you get a few more options for meat.
And no clean up? Now that's my kind of cooking!
You're telling me!
Wow! You know how to drink ‘SOMAC’(소맥)!!! great!! 👍👍
I like this video!! And I love samgyeopsal!!😋
Yes gyus don’t wear nice clothes when you eat Kbbq!🤗
There are unrecognizable Korean characters to your name so I'm going to go ahead and say this gets the authentic seal of approval. Thank you! (how do you say thank you in Korean...?)
Tipsy Wok you say 감사합니다( gam sa hap ni da) it’s ‘thank you’.
What about people who like stake medium rare
Haha the Asian Flush !!
Me eating bushes baked beans while watching this knowing I can’t do Korean barbecue for at least another year..
☺
Happy Kimchi on your Dim Sum day to you too
Comp sci final starts in 59 minutes but sure I'll watch some tipsy wok
Good luck! Don't screw it up. And if lil Wok doesn't get an A tell him his family is disappoint
Tipsy Wok He says "Don't worry, they already are"
Well, that makes two of us. *cries in doctor*
HA! PHRASING!! 🤣
Cut the Sad Kid on the Football team! Thank you!
That's a lot of meat in your mouth haha! Great job man!
❤❤❤❤
Generally, you don't put a daikon in your hand and put meat on it. It's because it's hot. Put the daikon in a bowl and put the meat on it. I am not good at English because I am Korean. I'm sorry if I hurt your feelings.
Your English is great! It's good to hear some good advice! The daikon at this place was chilled so it was OK to put the meat on it in my hand, but a bowl would probably be cleaner in retrospect... Thanks for stopping by!
Isn't Yokult Japanese?
Wait, can we have a KBBQ night? I've never had it and I feel like we should make this happen!
YOU HAVEN'T?
I haven't! I've always wanted to go, but I've just never gone. haha
The gay joke lol! I am that gay man, I feel seen asf

Funny....

What the hell is 'kimchi sauce'?
damn this is making the tip of my TT head really wet.
Thank... you?
No. Thank you.
Is this a solid first date idea?
Its funny I was reading some review on google map ( cos I'm looking for a place to eat) from people going to Korean BBQ restaurant giving them 1 star because their food was over cooked or burnt because waiter took too long to go to their table to monitor the grill 😆 🤣. N these are like several reviews too. I'm like these people have no hands or something? So they sat there watching their own food getting burnt slowly n have zero common sense they can actually remove the food unto their plate themselves. Even if its not a do it yourself restaurant, you don't sit there waiting for the waiter to come rescue you LOL. One table grill actually caught on fire because the customers did nothing but watched their food getting burnt n finally caught on fire. LOL. "Our food got burnt n caught fire because our waiter didn't come over to turn down the grill because he was chatty away with his coworker". If you n your group is that stupid, you should never eat at Korea BBQ.
There are some Korean BBQ places where the server does the cooking for you. I've never been to such a place.... Why wait when you can just COOK IT YOURSELF
Right handed scissors. You used your left hand....from a left hander.
